Ben Harper?

I have no idea of this possibility, I was wondering if anyone else had any idea? Seeing as NY and Fleet Foxes are playing both and Seasick Steves name has been thrown about I thought Mr Ben Harper could have a very good chance.

I saw him a few years back when I paid to watch RHCP, and he was at least 100000000000000 times better than those has beens! lol

So, yeah, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals?

saw him supporting RHCP when i was about 15, i wished it away because i was so excited. i would absolutely love to see him again, he was fantastic.

2nd or 3rd on the Jazz World stage would be good., hopefully the day BB King is playing so i can spend the whole evening there.

Has he done any good albums recently last one i got was diamonds on the inside which was ok(ish) but not a patch on the earlier ones

I saw Ben Harper supporting Jack Johnson last year. Was one of the best performances I've seen in a long time.

He's another quality act and has some incredible songs.

That's what I was thinking with my post that he won't play innocent criminals track.

His new album would be roughly the length of a set...I was gonna say stick in a couple of covers to fill it out, but looking on the website from the 4 sample tracks, it's already two covers; purple rain and good times, bad times.

I think he could easily fill a set easily and I'd definitely go and watch. Seen him plenty of times with the criminals and pretty much always excellent.

yeah, definitely. but with an unproven/new project I wouldn't be suprised for him to be a little lower down the bill or on another stage if he does play (he was late-afternoon on the pyramid last time he played glasto if memory serves).

Saw him play Glasto about 3-4 years back. He was good afternoon fodder!...

Yeah, 2004, mid afternoon. Very accomplished guitar player but absolutely no interaction with crowd.
