Flags for Glasto 2009

They have worked well , not uneven or anything !

mabey a skin coloured spray paint might work with out being too thick yet run proof.

cover over the areas you dont want to get spray on with masking tap and paper.

you don't want to put that flag on a pole ! you should frame it and put it on your wall, its looking great

think im gonna have to use paint for the faces though, which im not really wanting to do, cos i cant find a skin coloured pen.

Last year we had a haribo flag, and we mixed red and yellow food dye to get the face colour right. It did run in the thurs rain though so he ended up looking a bit albino but I reckon if you covered it in that nikwax waterproofer it should be ok. Plus it's gonna be dry for the duration of the festival this year.

You could try thickening the food colour with corn flour or arrow root? Corn flour will make the mixtur cloudier and a bit white/pale, but using arrow root shouldn't effect the colour!

Thinking about it arrow root would probably be better it doesn't change the colur of the mixture you put it in, but works the same!

Yeah there's bound to be one somewhere, or you could mix orange,White and pink?

Yay!!! I finished flag number one yesterday so need to do some skyblue shopping when I get paid for flag number two! Which isn't a caldewood flag by the way, but thinking about it I quite fancy trying one of them now too!!!

I have all the necessary equipment now to get my flag done, just struggling to fit in the time to do it. Me and the girl that are designing it can't seem to agree on a time to get it done.

I really want to make a flag. Next year for sure, too busy with exams at uni atm (well I should be revising anyhow). I think the camp sites are great with all the decorations.

Just hope no one laughs at my artistic skills!

finally ordered my flag pole and kit today, cant wait to see it all assembled.

my 3rd set of pens came today so hopefully mine will be finished finally. then i can iron on to make permanent and have it flying at the weekend
