Kasabianite
Just had a look at the website, 2 things jumped out at me: Strictly no tracksuits / trainers ok No alcohol, illegal substances, drinks, food, bottles, cans, golfing brollies, canisters to be brought into event site or campsite. So no trainers OR bringing your own booze for the campsite---aye thatll work!!!

Kilma
From the official website - Alcohol will be permitted into the campsite but only 1 crate & 1 bottle per person. Well that's alright then........LOL

tamkane
Can we extend the "No tracksuits" rule to this year's T??? Imagine a campsite full of naked neds running around cause they've nothing else to wear!!! What would they tuck into their socks then?? Not worth thinking about!!! Paul ™
Something not quite right about this 'festival' am suspicious also states finishing later than all the other major Scottish festivals at 2am.. erm someone best tell them Rockness is on till 4am and wickerman till 5am I think they are trying to capture the lost L@LL crowd.. I will be staying well away Edited February 12, 2009 by Paul ™
furrycasual
In saying that I ended up at live@lochlomond last year(won tkts wouldnt have paid) and it was actually a really good 2 days, not as many neds as I feared. Obviously they are making a few statements to sound like they are going to limit potential drunkenness etc but its probably a clause in their licence application to the council(kind of supporting statement) as I would imagine that there may be potential opposition to the festival. Glitter+Vodka
It means trainers are ok, rather than 'no trainers, ok?' I dont know why I decided to clear that one up, festival sounds a bit shite. You have to enter Irvine.

Spore
One bottle and one crate per person? Last year I took 4 or 5 bottles of varying size and shape, and three crates of Tennents to T. ASDA had cracking offers on. No tracksuits, yay. But no trainers? Perhaps the organisers invision us all going in evening dress so we can waltz to "Showdown" when Pendulum are playing. Actually, now that I've said it that sounds like I might be on to something. Waltzfest 2010, who's with me?

StuFos
I'd love to know how everyone is calling this a "Nedfest" already. Someone please explain why everyone is jumping to this conclusion

Glitter+Vodka
Dance music appeals to neds. However that doesn't mean only neds like dance music. Its like maths, and those problems you get.
