I've been accused of posting unreliable information, even when I've offered frequent health warnings about the value of forecasts, and even when I've frequently stated that forecasts can change, can go down as well as up.

To do that is the shitstirring of a blatant troll in my book.

Characterising blatantly inflammatory, out and out trolling as a mere difference of opinion and as bravely, independent-mindedly standing up against the some invented 'party line' or against some imagined dull monothought clique also smacks a little of trolling too IMO ....

Monday 22 June 2009 to Sunday 28 June 2009

"Westerly wind prevails."

The Azores high dominates over southern Britain during this week and it will be breezy and showery elsewhere.

Fairly typical summer conditions occur this week, giving a north-west/south-east divide in weather types. Showers may occur anywhere but will be prevalent in the north-west of the country.

Sunshine amounts will be around the seasonal average, although south-eastern Scotland may be above this average because of the shelter of the Highlands.

Temperatures are also likely to be average for the time of year but East Anglia should see temperatures a couple of degrees above this average. South-east Scotland could also see warmer conditions.

Sir,

You either follow the party line and be dull like most here, or you speak your brains!

Please always chose the second. We need more than just clones around here after all!

The man expressed an opinion, the only c**ts are those who think he's not allowed to do so!

Fair comment - but I like the sun, and I hope that people who express a preference for rain shut the f**k up and stop being agitating c**ts wallowing in ignorance, arrogance and petulance... get over it.

Whilst it has absolutely no impact on what th weather might be like 200 miles away in a weeks time, I hope its better than today has been in the North West. Its been relentless all day, just now eased up, put down about 30mm since 10am!!

Blimey it's all got a bit heated in here this afternoon!

I haven't read so much rubbish in my life, The weather on the TV can only predict weather 2/3 days in advance... All your doing is reading information off sources... the information you give to people is unrealible and there is no facts with weather forcasting, the winds could change direction almost instantly.

However, if you can give factual weather forcasts months before an event, i suggest you give the BBC a phonecall.

All I'm going to say on the subject is the above 2 quotes contradict themselves somewhat, no? In which case the second quote was probably designed to ruffle a few feathers...

Anyway, I hear the sun may be paying us a visit next weekend? :D:lol:

wow, nice intelligant words there

anyway, In my opinion, any forcast expressed earlier than 24 hours is unrealible, and that it why i believe you to be misleading and partly scaremongering those who are attending Glastonbury 2009..

Hi Kohoutec... When i orginally said it 'looks like its going to rain' it was purely from the source Metcheck.. Im sure 'WoW' can tell us that it did infact state that it was going to rain throughout the festival when the message was sent.

I suggest you pop on 'http://dictionary.reference.com/' when you have a spare minute and look up the word 'mate' i'm afraid ive never met you :P

Anyway, i don't want to start flamming, i just want it to start raining at Glastonbury! :P

    • Really well done, Primavera. Maybe the biggest name on the lineup as a surprise. (Ecpecially if Robert joins this)
    • There's one way it can get bigger- if Robert Smith joins her on stage
