Hi, Can you drink your drink anywhere at glasto?rather than have to que and buy. at V we couldnt.

Yes. You can take your own drink with you (no glass bottles though) and drink it anywhere you like. Also, if you want a drink from the bars there are no tokens.

Cigarettes are fine but if it is cannabis then remeber you are not outside the law, it is still illegal! A lot of people do smoke cannabis but remember there are police on site and it's a risk you take (i don't know how often people get lifted for cannabis etc).

there were 'no smoking' signs up in all the stage/tents last year and the vast majority of people were sticking to the rules.

My friend Jo got told off 3 times for smoking rolls up in Stone Head bar last year.

By the same female steward in the space of about an hour.

It was in the early hours , and her protests of

"its not safe for a women to be outside in the dark alone ! " were quite rightly ignored by the steward !

any body got any tips on getting your "herbs" into glast? do you just put it in your tent bag or do they search them on the way in?

They do search about 1 in 10 people at the most and when they do they don't really look at everything. Just a quick rummage. If you have quite a bit the best thing to do is spread it all about between friends or hide it in different items in your bag so if some of it gets taken off you then you still have more left.

The easiest way is to not talk about it on an open forum where the police regularly check

Most of the tents qualify as being public *indoor* spaces, hence smoking's not allowed. The festival could be fined for not enforcing it.
