What about Placebo ??

They have not been annoucned for Sonisphere. And on the Download weekend, they are playing Finland on Friday and Rockness on Sunday so that leaves them free on Saturday. They would be the perfect 2nd Stage headliners, while the Prodigy play before Slipknot.

Brand new? touring the uk bout ten days after download, 2nd stage sunday would make a perfect alternative to def leppard.

Spineshank are also being rumoured, might as well go all out and book alien ant farm, what happened to them! would be great early on in the friday and get everyone bouncing.

when i saw Spineshank supporting SOAD way back in the heady days of '98 (99? can't remember) they were absolutely godawful, so no thanks from me please. first support Static X were excellent tho, so i'd happily see them there this year!

and Alien Ant Farm - no, no, no, NO NO NO NO NO.

edit: and mr Efestivals! Manowar, Heaven n Hell and Rammstein still in the rumours section? is there really ANY chance of those happening? and why no Clutch despite the myspace date?

Think someone from Static X is in prison over either rape or murder. :P

Alien Ant Farm - No thanks :P

Brand New - Yes Please.

Another Rumour for people. I don't like the band but Cobra Starship are touring late May.

Static X?! can I hear a f**k YEAH?! that would cheer me up no end :P

Never really been overly arsed about Alien Ant Farm, although I can think of a lot worse.. but Brand New (ironically doing nothing of the sort; just generic rock imo) would be better suited at leeds.. :P
