I'd like to find somewhere on-site that does a lovely extra cold pint of the black stuff I must say,

Still unsure whether to join you fine gentleman on the real ale trail, the prospect of me not having a CLUE about what I'm drinking is frightening, considering you all seem to be quite the experts :D

So now r0cky has posted the WBC map on another thread, proper crawl planning can start! Bombfrog was asking whether all the WBC bars sell the same stuff - I think that is the case, but happy to be corrected.

I thought it would be good to collect up all the alternative bar suggestions.. So my starter for 10 is:

1. The Red Flag Real Ale Tent, the spiritual home of this thread :lol:

2. Bimble Inn up in Park, with Otter ales

3. The Pub in Shangri La which we think has moved to Avalon for this year?

What other suggestions do people have for non-lager and Wherry bars?

Pub crawl planning can now begin! :unsure:

OK, I'll think I'll be at this, with a couple of very keen Russians who want to try lots of different ales. They're no experts, but by God, they like a drink. Is that OK?

From this I just wanted to query if I'm going to be the only female in attendance? tends to be the way with the consumption of ale (i blame my dad weaning me on directors draught in the 80s, but thats another story) but thanks to him I can proudly reply to anyone who asks "no, I'm not expecting, that's just beer" :D

It's an informal meet, just turn up and say Hi,

we'll be wearing efesty logo man stickers free to all that want one.

      Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
