Hello Guys,

I'm pleased to tell you that I have just ordered my glastonbury tickets yesterday and I am going with my dad :O. I decided to fudge the prom since it's way too expensive just for one night! I mean the £150.00 tux and the £30.00 ticket plus money for the limo will equal to my glastonbury ticket anyway so what's the point in spending all that money for a 1 night party when I can spend that money on a 5 day one! (or four days in my case). Well any way, I bring it up just to ask one thing:

IS ANYONE HERE REALLLY REALLLY EXITED?????!!!!!

Cheers,

Prom = end of year ball/party for year 11 students. It is the talk of the entire year for months, the girls spend a fortune (and several decades) getting ready, the boys wonder how much alcohol can seriously be smuggled in under a suit.

It lasts about 4 hours in total. I blame America.

prom?! blooming yank term! whats wrong with just calling it a may ball like I had when i was at school. Neither are worth missing glastonbury for though.

We had a piss up in a field when I left school and then went round any pubs that we could get in.

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
