Holding Back the Lineup

I dont think am the only one who thinks this but why have Rockness organisers held back the other headliners and also the other acts. If they release them earlier then ovbiously they would get more people buying ticktes earlier and am sure a high percentage of people are waiting to see who else is appearing. The organisers have said "over 120 acts over 6 stages" so why not release them? What exactly are they waiting for because in my opionion they are just losing ticket sales.

f**k knows. they are pretty slow with announcements and updating their website. although some of the big festivals such as T won't make their frist announcements until next month so rockness have actually started quite early.

think them reasons are pretty pointless especially considering last year when pendulum & david guetta cancelled at last minute. 2 of the bigger names there last year. just annoying really holding headliners especially.

Would like to add that if they realesed them all now they would lose publicity, by letting them out in chunks they get more media coverage over the year running up to the festival so infact sell more tickets because of it. Simple business rules, it can't really rely on sales like the big festivals who don't actually need much media attention.
