Have they got any bands confirmed, the website seems very quite. Most festival line ups are beginning to leak through but we have heard nothing from Latitude.

Perhaps because its SO good.

or perhaps its so bad.....

fingers crossed for the first option.

Well it's finally happened.

a) we've had our gig confirmed.

B) I have confirmation of one of the headliners and all but the very final confirmation of another one.

Sorted...looking like a great lineup!

so subgubala are you going to give us a clue then. Who you are or the band you play in, and the headliners that you you know of. I still think you are Peter Brewis or a lot of folk think you maybe Tom English. I was hoping you would be Brian Chase but think may be a bit of a longshot!! :D

Sorry, as you know I cant give clues as to who I am (kind of gives the Glastonbury game away a little bit).

As for the headliners, can't you wait until 23rd...only 8 days. As I think you can I wont give you a clue! B)

corky...its a great lineup so far regardless of who you are and what styles of music you are into. The organisers have got things spot on again as usual in regards to getting enoguh to cater for everyone.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
