Finally got round to watching casino royale, after hearing people go on about how it had revitalised the series and given the new one is out soon i thought why not. Big mistake, anyone who championed this film shame on you! Just absolute shite, one expression bond, and has pretty much put me off QoS, even if the soundtrack does have jack white and alicia keys!

just watched Free Jimmy

its a nordic movie, with the english screenplay written by Simon Pegg!

the animation is amusing to look at, the story is orginal, i found the dialouge quite funny in the "its not actually funny" kind of way, but i wouldnt call it a comedy as such...

but yea, its good. worth a watch at least

the lapland mafia bikers head blowing up was awesome, unexpected to say the least

Well i've just got back from 2 very lazy weeks of holidays, got a lots of DVD watching in. Of the things I watched

The Wire Series 1 - Well having heard all the hype I was excited but very worried that I'd be let down. SHouldn't have worried as I thought it was absolutely f'ing brilliant. The story develops slowly but is completely absorbing, all the characters have the chance to really develop. Makes a change to focus on the good and bad guys. I can't recommend it highly enough. I'm now debating whether I can wait till christmas to get the other 4 series or whether to just buy them now.

Futurama Beast With a Billion Backs - I enjoyed it, weird but funny (very funny in parts). I truely love Zap Branigan, genius character.

Buy them now. I've just finished season three, and they actually improve. I think my other half got them off Amazon for fifteen notes a pop.

I think it's ace. It is very long and slow moving but it puts over the shear hell of being trapped in a sub brilliantly, well in my opinion.

I found that with Apollo13 (puts over the sheer hell of being trapped out in space in a metal box brilliantly) but when I mentioned Apollo13 to Nightcrawler13 he was a bit 'meh' about it.
