MrPurple
...when three (apparently) major bands can pull out of a festival lineup and the only thing you can say is "who?". The Long Blondes, Catch the Elephant andthat band with the french name? Never heard of 'em squire. Mind you, if the Old Blind Dogs drop out I'll be seriously hacked off. MrPurple
& as for jefferson starship -what can i say?
tootsmcfruits
Indeed. Who can resist the lyrical majesty that is "we built this city on rock and roll". I wonder if they still do White Rabbit.
Kowalski
I have a wee question about this - are we actually guaranteed a little bit of "We built this city"? I'm a bit confussed and confumbled about the whole Jefferson Starship group! Was it not just Starship that did that track? (I get confused with all the groups and sub-groups there's been with jefferson starship) I hope they do play it but I'm beginning to doubt it at the moment after looking at Jefferson Starship track listings on itunes.... perthperson
I didn't know that Jefferson Starship were a reincarnation of Jefferson Airplane till I read something about it on here - I thought they were a totally different band. (I'm hoping they do all the old stuff like 'White Rabbit' and not 'We Built This City' because I don't really care for it - though I'm sure they will sing it and I'll sing along )
