  1. Hamas still have hostages so why would Keir now want a ceasefire when he didn't previously?
  2. "The fighting must stop now." Why now?, why not months ago BEFORE there were 1.4 million displaced, the consequences were obvious. "an Israeli offensive there would be catastrophic", doesn't he think it's catastrophic already? He is a pathetic liar, he has backed the Israelis throughout despite the humanitarian disaster and now wants to appear to be concerned as the election approaches and he has an eye on the muslim vote. The worst kind of political opportunism.
  3. That article is a perfect example of why people shouldn't be concerned, it's a typical hysterical take on what may be a possibility in the future, "Atlantic Ocean circulation nearing ‘devastating’ tipping point, study finds", except it doesn't, it draws no certain conclusions, it's all based on one reading of the data and computer modelling, it may turn out to be correct but in all likelihood will turn out to be wrong. In any event, as this has happened before in the distant past there is no evidence it is connected to man made global warming, in which case we have no control over whether it happens or not. If people want something to worry about there are several other dangers much more likely to have a devastating effect on your life such as nuclear war or a cyber attack which disrupts the internet in the west, we are totally reliant now, it wouldn't take much to lead to a complete shutdown of society. Anyway, we're f**ked, may as well make the most of it .. We should all absolutely be making the most of our lives, no one knows what the future holds, live for today, worrying about tomorrow is futile, you will probably be worrying about the wrong thing!
  4. Yes, sounds good but this was 2021, (the masks are a clue), hopefully he's still as good.
  5. Don't know about last year but I got a campervan ticket for East Quiet on 13th May 2022. There will always be a few whose plans change, camper breaks down etc.
  6. Take home would be more like £36k, you have forgotten about NI, But many people will not pay this new higher tax rate, it would make more sense to pay more into a private pension and get the tax relief and avoid the tax. This is the thing governments forget when they think they can generate more income through tax, there are almost always ways to mitigate paying the higher tax, the highest earners can afford the best tax advice to reduce their liability. It probably won't generate as much as they think and will make them unpopular.
  7. Yeah he much prefers The Fall version,
  8. No mention of this classic by Adge Cutler? Ferry to Glastonbury, predates the festival though,
  9. You don't think this comment applies to you? You really need to become more self aware.
  10. Your posts on here have been overwhelmingly pro-Israel and supportive of their heavy military response, some have been quite provocative, The bottom line is innocent people are dying, we should be pushing for a peacefull solution not inflaming hatred ,I know it seems pretty much impossible at the moment but you have to try, if the people of Northern Ireland had stuck to their entrenched positions they would still be bombing and kneecapping each other now. Maybe your position is a bit more nuanced than you have presented it, maybe future posts will have a different flavour, but in any event i agree you shouldn't be abused, reasoned argument is the way.
  11. You clearly thought the Palestinians were being punished for their past decisions, you actually said "But this is the thing... The Palestinians make choices. And choice have consequences. As a body of people they have been making bad choices for a long time. If they want to keep attacking Isreal (for whatever reason) they shouldn't be surprised with the outcome. They should be hating Hamas as much as anyone by this point. They brought this on them. " So by that logic, we in Britain deserve to be suffering as we have voted in a Tory government for years, the fact that many if not most of the population didn't vote for them doesn't mean anything. "They should be hating Hamas as much as anyone by this point." Maybe many of them are, since Hamas are by your definition a armed terrorist organisation how do you propose an unarmed civilian population get rid of them? Your argument is ridiculous, it's no wonder people get angry. Like many people you have chosen a side in this, but there is no morally correct choice, raping and killing is wrong, and so is mass bombing of civilian areas, neither is justified or morally supportable.
  12. There was at least one in 2014 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-somerset-28264210
  13. Should have tried them first!, rubbish that a big company like See has no phone contact at all. Sorry Summertime, hope the email route works.
  14. try 0115 912 9000 0115 945 4590 0115 945 4570 Also: 0115 912 9240 & 0115 993 4419 Not tried these myself but some of them should still work.
  15. Or maybe they are selling the double bookings they have had to cancel!
  16. Yes! get in quick folks, wonder if they hold a few back for people who can't try earlier?
  17. Good point, not thought about that, though if it happens I suppose you can have the awning trackside so your sleeping area is a bit further away, will bear it in mind!
  18. Shorter walk to and from the site. Outer fields can be quite a trek.
  19. Once the booking was confirmed it wouldn't let you book another camper with the same reg. no. so they must have been getting processed at the same time so the system didn't realise there would be multiple bookings.
  20. Not once you enter the details, you get a "Sorry, we were not able to allocate the tickets you requested. Please change your selections." message, still worth trying for a bit, in the past they have come and gone a bit even after these messages.
  21. Got quiet campervans at 12.08 they were gone at 12.20, showing available but not once you entered details, was getting in easy after the first success, so happy we get to be near(ish) the gate.
  22. Yep, should be 4 adults max, they could sort out a family ticket for those with kids, we were just 3 this time but got lucky, have usually just been 2 of us, though there have been 5 in the past. Having said that I've only ever failed once and i'm the only one trying, so always worth trying though it is getting harder.
  23. After missing out this year for the first time back to winning ways, close call with the payment though, first one failed second card worked.
  24. That doesn't explain why this particular page appears once in maybe 100 attempts, if you try refreshing the new page it reverts to the old extras page. There must be a reason this one is sent rather than the older one, I suspect this is the equivalent of a booking page and the old one a busy page, maybe See simply allow a very small percentage of traffic to try to access the real booking system, the rest are fed a dummy page.
