The poster who mentioned GnR had replaced Taylor also said Reg was the third headliner. All is not lost yet.

TRNSMT's director, Geoff Ellis in 2019: "It will be a while until there's a 50/50 balance. That's definitely several years ahead for any major festival to achieve because there's far, far less female artists. "We need to get more females picking up guitars, forming bands, playing in bands". Yeah, it's weird. There aren't any women playing indie rock.

It was more an observation, slightly tongue in cheek, of a particularly determined fan base

Swifties will have been in the pit all day, ignoring all the other acts

I can't imagine that she'd announce she's playing Glastonbury this early (if she is playing) if she's got her own mega-gigs to sell.

Only seen episode 1, but Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities is living up to my expectations

Bad Bunny is undoubtedly huge, but not over here, whereas Taylor is. Blackpink is a manufactured girl band designed to make enormous amounts of money from young people. Taylor is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter who happens to have a huge following. Not sure why you’re comparing her with either of those two?

Aye, you wouldn’t want to miss either of those!

Live gigs - Who you've seen were they good, bad etc.

I was there a few months ago to see Alice Cooper/The Cult. I was very impressed with the venue; good sound, good view from our seats etc, and had no problems getting a drink. I think it was a good call making it the size it is (approximately 3k) - Cardiff really needs a decent venue that sort of size, and Swansea is attracting a lot of acts that Cardiff are now missing out on. Bristol could do with a larger venue, but with Cardiff about to build a large arena (as opposed to the 7k CIA) it might not be needed. Naming the new Swansea venue an Arena is a bit cheeky though! -
Can guarantee that Slave to Love wouldn’t be played - it’s a Ferry solo track. You should be ok with the others - all present on the recent tour

And that’s Aerosmith ruled out

Garth Crooks maybe, Garth Brooks no

The world may not, but their fans do

John Peel tent next year

Bizarre that Cardiff is more expensive than Swansea, given that it's 40+ miles closer

Yes, I know that, but I detect a bit more of a money grab this year. Springsteen's were on sale in July and, as we know, went for silly money. Taylor Swift was expected to play Glasto on her next tour, but looks like doing a stadium tour this time. Once people start making financial sacrifices and these acts know that they'll not be selling out multiple stadiums at £100+ a ticket perhaps they'll then turn to festivals.
-
I suspect that acts capable of selling huge venues are announcing tours for 2023 whilst people can still afford silly money for tickets. It might be different next year once the cost of living crisis really hits peoples pockets.

Last time I saw the Carpets Noel was not just a roadie, but as I recall, one end of a panto cow (true)
