Taylor is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter who happens to have a huge following. Not sure why you’re comparing her with either of those two?

I was there a few months ago to see Alice Cooper/The Cult. I was very impressed with the venue; good sound, good view from our seats etc, and had no problems getting a drink. I think it was a good call making it the size it is (approximately 3k) - Cardiff really needs a decent venue that sort of size, and Swansea is attracting a lot of acts that Cardiff are now missing out on. Bristol could do with a larger venue, but with Cardiff about to build a large arena (as opposed to the 7k CIA) it might not be needed. Naming the new Swansea venue an Arena is a bit cheeky though!

Yes, I know that, but I detect a bit more of a money grab this year. Springsteen's were on sale in July and, as we know, went for silly money. Taylor Swift was expected to play Glasto on her next tour, but looks like doing a stadium tour this time. Once people start making financial sacrifices and these acts know that they'll not be selling out multiple stadiums at £100+ a ticket perhaps they'll then turn to festivals.
