    Slowthai

Yep, thankfully removed from the poster.
  2. Right I’ve went through the replies and updated this based on what confirmations people have that I didn’t know about. I’ve also taken some opinions on board while sticking to my guns on others. e.g. I think you’re all underestimating Carly Rae Jepsen and I think Aitch is right where he is given that Parklife is a Manchester homecoming gig for him. Oh also I think Weyes Blood is bigger than Goldfrapp but that contradicts what she said so that bits probably wrong. FRIDAY Pyramid Arctic Monkeys (Confirmed) Royal Blood (TBC) ??? ??? Stefflon Don ??? ??? ??? ??? Also on the more general comments about the quality of the line-up, I’m on the side that actually likes it a lot more after doing this. I still think across the board the headliners and most of the subs are trash, but I think from mid-afternoon to sub-headliner you’ve got a real great mix across these big stages, with some real fun acts in the morning too.
  3. Ugh, just tried to make edits with all everyone's pointers about confirmed times and apparently you can't edit posts after a certain amount of time? That's a silly rule. Anyway I'll post an updated one in a bit to give people time to point out any other errors. Thanks for the help all! Also if anyone does have any better ideas about Manic Street Preachers placement please let me know. As I'm not a fan I think I just stuck them at Other opener to keep them out of a big spot they're probably going to get.
  4. Right as we're entering endgame, I figured I'd go through rumours and TBCs and try to work out what we've got left to announce on the major stages. Here's what I came up with: FRIDAY Pyramid Arctic Monkeys (Confirmed) Royal Blood (TBC) ??? ??? Texas (TBC) The Chicks ??? Other Wizkid (Confirmed) Fred Again (TBC) Carly Rae Jepsen Chvrches Raye ??? ??? Manic Street Preachers West Holts Kelis (Confirmed) Young Fathers (Confirmed) Joey Badass (Confirmed) Gabriels (Confirmed) Louis Cole (Confirmed) ADG7 (Confirmed) Yaya Bey (Confirmed) Deloitte Feminine Band (Confirmed) Woodsies Hot Chip (Confirmed) Warpaint (TBC) Maneskin Pale Waves The Big Moon Digga D Bru-C The Sixsters (Confirmed) Park Fever Ray (TBC) Sparks ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? SATURDAY Pyramid Guns ’n Roses (Confirmed) Lizzo (Confirmed) Lewis Capaldi (TBC) ??? ??? Amadou & Mariam ??? Stefflon Don ??? ??? ??? SOME CLARIFICATIONS Basically if an act has 'Confirmed' next to it, official Glasto bods have confirmed their placement. If it says 'TBC', there's either a self-confirm or a generally considered to be correct rumour about the act's placement. If there's an act that says '(unannounced)' then that act hasn't been confirmed by Glasto bods yet but there's a strong rumour that they're playing at this specific stage and time. If there's nothing next to that act's name, that's me guessing where they'll be based on comparisons to artist's of a similar size/style in 2022's lineup. Finally, if there's question marks, that's where I believe/hope there's still space for new acts to be announced. Now I'll start doing my actual job that I was meant to start doing an hour and a half ago. EDIT: Oh and the 'rumoured' ones on Sunday other are from someone earlier in this thread. Can't remember the source tbh.
  5. worst case scenario for me with the headliners. Got CATQ clashing with Lana (my fave act clashing with my gf's), then still absolutely bugger all for us to see on the sunday night. Wish the eavii would keep in mind that not everyone's an elton fan. more positive outside of the headliners though. Love to see Pale Waves, Caroline Polachek and Editors added and CMAT absolutely stole the show when I saw her supporting Wet Leg at RAH earlier this year. All in the 'deffo see' pile.
  6. Girlfriend who can't stand the heavy stuff tucks herself in for an early night, I head off and treat myself to some HO99O9 at 1am. Lovely stuff!
  7. Dermot Kennedy, Tom Grennan, TWOD, those looking for a nap at Glasto are going to be well served by the Other stage this year, eh? At least there's a bit of Nova Twins and Slowthai in there to wake them up.

    Left field 2023

That's Crawlers and Cavetown firmly added to the "if I'm around at the time pile". Need that clashfinder to drop (I know, I know, we're ages away).
  9. Believe Prima Queen are doing this and they've already been announced for the croissant.
  10. Henge should be a lot of fun and Prima Queen have been buzzy recently. Good line-up considering the stage size, for sure.

    Avalon 2023

Jake Shears will be a lot of fun, reckon I'll catch him if he's not too late in the day. Bet Will Young will be absolutely packed out.
  12. Earl Sweatshirt? Yes please!
  13. Saturday?? They're clashing with Lana?? Literally the only two headliners on any stage I'm interested in all weekend and they're clashing. Lovely!
  14. oof, I'm a big defender of the Haim day but otherwise, did someone spend all the APE's cash reserve? These lineups are...questionable.
  15. Probably just not announced yet. I got a notification from Seated that she'd added the dates as they pull directly from artist websites. I expect they'll be announced either this evening or tomorrow morning.
  16. Regina Spektor doing two nights at Southbank Centre in July, finally touring the new album - https://www.southbankcentre.co.uk/whats-on/gigs/regina-spektor Seriously considering dropping £70 on a Southbank Centre membership just to secure presale for this, been waiting a long time for her to finally tour again.
  17. Oh really? To be honest I've always lumped him in as one of those moody soulful white dude singer-songwriters with not much about him. If he got weirder after his big album I should maybe check him out. That's what happened with Bon Iver. Was put off by the debut, then on a recommendation I checked out i,i and got obsessed.
  18. In line with this year's weird theme of "acts that seemed like they would be massive in the early 2010s but then kind of weren't".
  19. Guarantee that BBC will want to broadcast Call Me Maybe, really can't see that being in Woodsies. As much as I'd prefer her on a smaller stage, I'm thinking she's surefire mid-afternoon on Pyramid. She's not exactly small-time, she almost filled Ally Pally last month.
  20. This is why I'm buzzing if it's true that Christine And The Queens are headlining Woodsies Sunday. See my fave line-up discovery with a great live show at what will basically amount to a "special intimate performance" in terms of crowd size? Yes please! Not bothered about seeing a tiny dot from three miles away that could maybe be Elton John tbh.
  21. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/areas/west-holts/ This page confirms that Mahalia is subheadling Saturday, meaning it's fairly certain Young Fathers are Friday and Candi Staton is Sunday.
  22. hahaha what an absolute queen
  23. Kelis is headlining? Don't think anyone expected that one. Worry that Emily might have taken this missive to not overcrowd the fields a little too far... EDIT: Actually listened to her single from last year and it's a bop. Maybe that's my Friday headliner sorted after all.
