  1. How would this work logistically? Me and my other half are in CV bath and West, but coming down the Tuesday. Can you just turn up on the Wednesday and pitch your tent next to ours?
  2. On the back of this. I need to be back in Essex by 3pm at the latest on the Monday. I'm in Bath and West, are there many queues getting out first thing Monday morning? Have a trailer tent to pack away, so need to factor that in also.
  3. I'm in Essex too and was thinking that today would be perfect Glasto weather!
  4. If anyone's interested...
  5. Setting up the trailer tent in B&W, then having a nice cold drink when it's all done as a reward. Head into the Festival when the queue has died down a bit on the Wednesday, take a couple of ciders in my bag, have a slow wander round and take it all in. I've heard of everyone meeting in the East camper fields on the Tuesday evening, does anything like this happen in B&W?
  6. I've got 24 (now 22 😂) cans of hard seltzers too. Nice and refreshing on a sunny day 🤞 Also got 10 ciders (so far) and going to be making some kind of flavoured vodka. Unsure what flavours yet though
  7. Booked my cat into a cattery called 'Shangri-La' It's a sign 😂
  8. Tesco sell a Westons Cider, think its a 3l for about £7 Or Lilley's cider so lots of boxes, different sizes and flavours
  9. I move mine to the front too. Also have a little wire padlock thing that I can lock the zips together if I am worried, as I'll have car keys, ticket & money in it.
  10. I have one of these 10litre 2 big compartments Bottle holder each side One of the compartments can have a cool pack in to keep food and drinks cold, so can just take one from the coolbox It's a kids bag, but perfect for me! I take a small folding chair, waterproof (hopefully won't actually need), collapsible water bottle, couple of snacks, extra layer, hand soap and suncream. Have also waterproofed it, just in case!
  11. Surely you can't be the only person wanting to go on the shuttle bus with a trolley. I guess it may take you waiting for a few buses that are not so busy that has the space to put the trolley in the storage section. Speak to the driver etc. And, as said before, it'll only need to be taken in once and out once. Wait for the mass crowds taking the bus to the festival to die down a bit and go for it!
  12. Looking down over everything in 2015. Not sure of the day
  13. Thank you both. Thats what I want, something that doesn't involved much 'faff' but still decent coffee.
  14. What kind of coffee bags do you use? I like my coffee, but need something I can take with me, that's not instant coffee.
  15. We're in a trailer tent, so have 2 big chairs we leave there. We have one each of these foldable chairs in our day bags, pack up really small and light. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284191702763?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=RjIPekt9Qk-&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=jwXFOTEsQDy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  16. Is it just a cake of adding the flavour you want and leaving it? What's the blue one?
  17. Get yourself one of these, use any bottle. From previous experience, easier to get used to that a proper 'shewee', squashes down as its rubber, so takes up little to no room! 😊 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363662868522?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=gefzdnnct0u&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=jwXFOTEsQDy&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  18. Hahahaha, love that!! Them all just stood there, pint in hand staring 😂😂
  19. I think we'll be bringing some boxed ciders, anyone know best places to purchase? Are they sold in supermarkets? And, any ideas and suggestions on what cocktails I premix at home that will travel well etc. I will have a cool box in the trailer tent to keep everything nice and cool.
  20. Hahaha, yeah, I can imagine there's a fair amount of people buying one just for a festival, and not having a clue when they get there 😂😂 Were pretty good at it now thankfully!
  21. Our trailer tent, being tested a few times before glasto! Got a jackery and solar panel to power a few bits, lights etc. Nice and easy to tow, can put it up in about an hour or so between the 2 of us. Turns into a nice big living space.
  22. Given the trailer tent kitchen a clean out, ready to pack back up for a few trial runs before June!

Have never used it, as been in East previously, but it's just like a normal bus. It's just for the glasto people anyway I believe, and you'd show your ticket to get into the actual festival when you get there. I think it's a good few times every hour, so plenty of opportunities!! I'm in the bath and West also this year (in my trailer tent) so see you there!!
  24. I'd be interested in seeing these too! Got B&W tickets for my trailer tent this time round. Have previously been in West, but this no longer exists.
  25. Booked my car in for a towbar to be fitted for the trailer tent I still need to buy 😆
