  1. You can import friends' highlights in clashfinder by going to menu > customise clashfinder > friends and entering their username and which highlight group of theirs you want. (Can be fiddly setting it up with appropriate colours on mobile, so easier to do on desktop.) I didn't use the shared schedule or find my friends in the app, but it was nice having a phone signal this year!
  2. So next year's early bird camping and non-camping tickets are the same price, but campsite shuttle bus is going to be charged for? That seems like a weird way to do the pricing that's just going to piss people off. Anyway, had fun this year. Ellie Dixon, Pale Waves and OMG!ITC were my highlights. The headliners at victorious aren't normally for me, but there was enough lower down the lineup to make it worthwhile.
  3. If anyone does need emergency waterproofs, there's a millets at the top of Palmerston Road (5 min walk from gates b/c). Could be another quiet day with the rain & rail strikes. Hope you all have a fun 1!
  4. Only found Coors & Madri so far. Tennis cafe is closed. Cafe by casemates stage that used to be good for cheap soft drinks is £3 now like the main bars. And Natty's jerk isn't here this year 😒
  5. You used to be able to get cans of staggeringly good (local brewery) from the cafe at the tennis club, but they're under new management since last fest so I don't know what they'll have this year. Will report back tomorrow (if nobody else does 1st).
  6. Maybe next year I'll need to find somewhere on site where I can stash a bottle in advance 🀣 You will get searched on the way in, but I haven't had any problems sneaking in a bit of rum. Might be less subtle if you're trying to sneak in a 12 pack of beers though! You can always nip out to the bars/shops on Palmerston Road for a quick 1, as long as you're back before 8pm.
  7. It's about a 25 min walk, and Pompey is pretty flat so easy to stroll. You can also hire an electric scooter if you've got the Voi app (but they stop working at 10pm so you can't use them post fest). Greetham Street is near Guildhall Walk, where all the nightclubs are, but I'd recommend Albert Road (very slight detour) or Elm Grove (on your way between the common and the halls).
  8. Wow, that's ridiculous. It's like they don't want people to come to their festival!
  9. Clashing with Imbruglia? Well now I'm torn 🀣
  10. On the castle stage? Wow, that could be rammed! Also, think victorious need to learn what "secret" means πŸ˜‚

    2024 Headliners

The S*n also said pulp were playing this year. They seem to just name everyone and are just lucky when they're right. Wouldn't surprise me if the source for the Mail article was the S*n. Either way, they're both shitrags trying to get clicks.
  12. They've mixed it up a bit. Saw them in Warrington and at Finsbury, got Dishes in Warrington and Mis-shapes and Razzmatazz at Finsbury (πŸ₯°)

    2024 Headliners

    Does anyone actually do this?
  14. Bought a new backpack. Have been making do with 2 medium sized bags, but now have 1 which will (hopefully) fit everything. Tend to go by public transport nowadays, so can't do multiple runs. Should be easier with 1 big bag (unless I fall over and end up stuck like an upside down turtle πŸ˜‚)
  15. Yes, saw them from the pyramid field, pretty sure it was during lizzo. Loads of things I'm gutted I missed (sparks, Raye, Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul, jockstrap, ADG7, most of maneskin...), but I don't regret any of the clash choices I made.
  16. Β£50-100 a year for guaranteed tickets? Probably spend more than that on cheese/choc/cider to win tickets when you fail in the sale πŸ˜‚
  17. "Excuse me, where's the dance village?" *Confused face* Sadly my husband butted in and pointed her towards silver hayes before I could direct her to 2011. Also, my husband during Kelis's megamix-style set: "Jive bunny's got a lot to answer for" πŸ˜‚
  18. ^ me when Bruce came on during Macca's set last year
  19. I'm a fully-grown adult and I get like this sometimes πŸ˜‚ Also this.
  20. Got tickets before realising it's supposed to be NHS staff. Feel bad now. I am public sector, but not as important/likeable as NHS πŸ˜‚
  21. This question is giving me vibes of a Somerset live / buzzfeed style researcher who's trying to put together a clickbaity article of glasto ticket buying "hacks". Apologies to the OP if I'm wrong. Maybe you just need to F5 more? Especially in the years that it didn't sell out in hours.
  22. Best: mushroom kebab at West Holts and Indonesian coconut curry by BBC intro. Worst: bland, tepid vegan chilli from the run between woodsies and san remo. Also, the woman at crumble shack gave me ice cream when I'd asked for custard 😟
  23. When Elton introduced Jacob from Gabriels: "did he say Peter Gabriel?"

    Pilton Palais

It's not listed on the lineup page or the pilton palais area page
  25. Yeah, I don't doubt that there are plenty of bellends at Glasto. It just seems kinda tragic that they'd then spend their time on a glasto forum posting about what a rebel they are.
