  1. Nah, he was doing academies then, aside from the Summertime Ball - then moving on to headlining Wireless in 2018

  3. At the moment my only definite is Kendrick, Billie depends on who she is up against, but not overly fussed as I'm seeing her on tour in London and Manchester. Then for Macca I'd be interested to see a song or two, but probably won't stick around and go explore elsewhere and/or see who's on the other stages at that point.
  4. Yeah must say from what I've seen from my mates, a lot of them are selling their tickets and are trying to get to Boomtown instead now. I wouldn't be shocked if it's relatively easy to get a below face value ticket, especially nearer the time - unless they pull like a special guest out of the bag, which I'm doubtful about.

    2022 Headliners

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but made a start on a 2022 playlist, obviously gonna be adding a lot more to it - any suggestions for songs to add? I'm into most genres, but very much wanting to discover new acts!
  6. For me, I'm absolutely buzzing with this lineup! Taylor aside, some amazing names there, and some acts I look forward to listening more to, as well as discovering some new ones. Stand outs for me include Kendrick and Doja. Looking forward to see the dance acts that'll get added at a later point, and hopefully some more rap. Am very excited though to say the least, when I first read the lineup I thought it was fake; especially having so many potential future headliners on there!
  7. Still not the best announcement for me, definitely seems they've splurged all their budget on the headliners and subs (other than The Lathums). But that being said, it seems to have sold very well, so I'm probably a bit out of touch - even if it is (in my opinion) considerably weaker than last year. Aside from that, even though Chaos In The CBD isn't a new name for this announcement, they're cool - hadn't noticed them being there. Then I also quite like the additions of Mae Muller, The Rills, Shane Codd and Shift K3y. Would be nice to see Shapes get added in the next (probably final) announcement.
  8. I'm gonna go with 08:01 tomorrow morning, just to get my (most definitely) wrong guess out of the way😂
  9. 1. Rex Orange County 2. Don Broco 3. Central Cee 4. Ewan McVicar 5. The Reytons 6. Mimi Webb 7. Knucks 8. French The Kid 9. Anne-Marie 10. Iann Dior 11. Hazey 12. Luude 13. Pip Millet 14. Enny 15. Priya Ragu 16. Everyone You Know 17. Navos 18. D-Block Europe 19. Headie One 20. Holly Humberstone
  10. Both weekends in London (especially) are very very strong
  11. This makes day splits a bit easier to see
  12. from looking at the 'tba' section of the lineup page on the website, it looks like this is what we have left in terms of to be announced, not sure if we will get all of it in the morning... but i'd imagine we will at leas get a very hefty chunk of it! crystal palace: friday: 3 main stage / 6 palace stage saturday: 4 main stage / 8 palace stage sunday: 2 main stage / 7 palace stage finsbury park: friday: 3 main stage / 2 second stage (5 others?) saturday: 5 main stage / 9 second stage sunday: 6 main stage / 8 second stage outdoor @ the nec: friday: 4 main stage / 6 second stage (1 other?) saturday: 4 or 5 main stage / 9 or 10 second stage sunday: 4 main stage / 9 second stage
  13. It's annoying I don't yet if I'll be working there or at a different festival - but tempted to book Weekend tickets for both Crystal and Finsbury. Yeah same with me about the Sunday, but then again, Tyler at Parklife clashes with Bicep, and I would really love to see them with the slot they've been given, really think that'll be special. The Sunday though at Wireless (CP) has got Baby Keem and Kali Uchis who I have wanted to see for quite a while now. Forgot to post it last night too, but Nicki Minaj tweeted that pre-sale tickets for her day have sold out!
  14. Yeah definitely long enough, guess that's just my music taste though, never really been much of a fan of Eminem, nor did I enjoy him that much in 2017😂
  15. Fair enough, I'd love to see him do that personally - would prefer it to let's say, Eminem again, or dare I say, Kings of Leon
  16. He's still headlining festivals and making hits - would make a great MSW headliner, or a MSE 'special guest'. And I've seen Calvin before, but just saying that I think it'd be cool to see him at R&L, would imagine he would go down really well personally with the majority of R&L attendees.
  17. Personally I think Birmingham kinda got the short straw (at least, so far), Finsbury and Crystal Palace are much stronger imo - especially that Saturday run of J. Cole > Doja Cat > Playboi Carti, that is more than worth a day ticket alone I think.
  18. AJ I think will get the call soon to do it, subbed Stormzy last year, headlining a couple of smaller festivals this year - probably going to re-announce his arena tour, perhaps alongside his next album. Don't think he'd look out of place, especially considering MTS's placing at Wireless and Parklife this year. Florence is definitely more of a pipe dream, can see her being more likely to get booked again for Boardmasters next year instead. Tyler, The Creator / Sam Fender Dua Lipa / Chase & Status (Live) or Courteeners The Killers / Doja Cat or Cardi B / Paramore Drake / Sam Fender Red Hot Chili Peppers / Doja Cat Would love to see Kygo or Calvin Harris at R&L, but can't really see that happening - as good as that would be.
  19. florence + the machine / aj tracey billie eilish / sam fender the killers / doja cat not sure if this is the most realistic, but wonder if next year they'd maybe go for 3 female headliners? seem to have gone down very well this year (and of course, with wireless too) - so would love to see it continued!
  20. wireless playlist for anyone wanting to get excited already!
  21. Any wants for names to be added on Monday morning? For me, some more UK rap would be great to see (e.g Tion Wayne and DigDat), would also like to see Ckay and Tems added as well
  22. Agreed! Great to see they’ve listened to feedback from previous years! Also, found this poster online - looks fan made - but cool to see nonetheless.
