  1. Plenty of "whoop there it is" in the Dance tent too
  2. Still been listening to the ODESZA album loads, I love it so much. Booked a few WHP's including Solid Grooves and Halloween - very tempted with Music On too. Have a couple others sorted, but not sure yet if I'll go or shift my tickets nearer the time. Gutted I won't be here though for Drumcode this year. Not really got a load else booked, Swedish House Mafia later this month, then will probably do a couple Printworks and/or The Beams nights, eyeing up Patrick Topping, MK, Elrow and Worried About Henry.
  3. Fairs ahaha, my mates who aren't really into DnB loved it - I thought it was quite a fun set, but then again, very much can see why someone wouldn't get any enjoyment at all from it. Yeah, would be shocked if Eliza Rose and LF System aren't there in some capacity - no brainer booking imo, MS or Dance Stage, just makes sense. Would love to see PinkPantheress get a main stage slot too - she smashed it in the tent, completely packed it out as well.
  4. Whilst we're on the topic, I would like to see some dance acts again on either main stage again next year - thought Bru-C especially was really good fun and got a pretty good sized crowd, especially for a 2pm slot
  5. Probably a bit too niche for R&L, but got a decent sized crowd at Parklife, especially considering they were up against 50 Cent - but nothing compared to the likes of Bicep's crowd the night after (against Tyler, The Creator), or Central Cee, who other than 50 Cent, probably got the biggest crowd of the weekend
  6. Unreal, cheers for all the answers guys! Much appreciated
  7. I think C&S would be one if they were booked to headline it'd have some people raise their eyebrows, but on the day, go down very well - much like MTS this year

    Sounds absolutely class!
  9. Fair enough, cheers! Was interested to know, because was thinking about the last time I saw Taylor she had the wristbands too, and if she is headlining next year and implements them, how we'd actually get them.

All the security do a dance routine to one of the songs during the set.
  11. Can I just ask, when Coldplay headlined in 2016, how did people get the light-up wristbands? Did they come with the ticket, or did you have to collect them there?

Fairs, I'd definitely give them a shot dependant of who else is on. But so far, I like what I hear and would be interested in catching at the very least a little chunk of their set
  13. I think either of them would go down well, especially Calvin. But can't really see it happening, especially with Creams North & South probably getting exclusivity over them too. Would LOVE to see it happen though. But agree that an act more like Bicep or Chase & Status (Live) is the more likely option. Nostalgia. IMO they have a great back catalogue of tunes, and even though I think it is a highly unlikely booking, *IF* they were ever to be booked, I think they'd actually draw a sizeable crowd - even if they aren't really the sort of booking I can envision R&L making.

I've never heard of them before, but when I asked my parents they seemed to get very excited by it - given them a listen, and recognise a couple of tunes. Seems like a decent enough booking for sure, and it isn't like they (my parents/their generation) know who acts like Doja Cat are. Fair play. Do we reckon they'll draw a big crowd? I am honestly clueless with them
  15. I can't really see them doing festivals, however, myself and pretty much all of my mates and loads of people I know are going to see them on their tour
  16. Headlined Wireless this year, sold out rapid - headlining a couple of others including Rolling Loud New York. Think she has a new album due as well
  17. 1.) The Last Goodbye - ODESZA 2.) Harry's House - Harry Styles 3.) Un Verano Sin Ti - Bad Bunny 4.) Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers - Kendrick Lamar 5.) Dawn FM - The Weeknd Honourable mention, Honestly, Nevermind - Drake
  18. Agreed, Travis or The Weeknd would create a load of fuss, especially after Travis' recent dates at the O2 which seemed to have gone down great and got a very positive reception. I think next year The Weeknd will just stick to his own stadium dates and from what I can see, doesn't have any festivals coming up (so far at least), so he'd have to change the production up a fair bit for R&L to facilitate him and his current show. Kendrick or Eminem also are options, as well as Cardi B imo (with a new album due). Personally I'd say out of the 'big' rap/r&b names my choices for likelihood would be either Travis, Kendrick or Cardi. Unless we got something a bit more out there like Nicki Minaj, or smaller rap headliners on MSW such as ASAP Rocky, Future, maybe even Skepta etc.
  19. Yeah, did Wireless this year as a UK exclusive
  20. Yeah, got sent a few pics of the crowd at Leeds, was pretty sizeable. To be fair to them, they have another 2 nights at the O2 later this year and in a couple days it seems to have sold pretty well (and a second date being added pretty quick), especially with them selling the O2 and Manc Arena out on their most recent tour last year. Their most recent album Home Alone 2 has a goat on the album artwork - would imagine that's why.
  21. I wanted to see them, as I've found them to be fairly decent (for what they are) when I've seen them live before, but didn't make it out of the campsite in time. However, some of my friends who enjoy their music said it was a fairly decent set (but not one of their best), then others who I know that aren't really into them said it wasn't great at all.
  22. Done some little tweaks to the poster I put in the 'Predictions/Bold Acts' thread the other day... Also done a few comparisons of each which I thought would be insightful to see. 2023 (My prediction/wishlist) Headliners: 1- Pop (Dua Lipa) 2- Rap/R&B/Urban (Travis Scott, Doja Cat) 3- Rock/Indie/Alt (Foals, Paramore, MCR) Subs & Specials Guests: 2- Pop (Becky Hill, Anne-Marie) 5- Rap/R&B/Urban (Carti, Loyle Carner, Lil Baby, Don Toliver, Central Cee) 6- Rock/Indie/Alt (The Wombats, The Vaccines, Idles, Architects, Don Broco, Wet Leg) 2022 (Official lineup) Headliners: 1- Pop (Halsey) 2- Rap/R&B/Urban (Dave, Megan Thee Stallion) 3- Rock/Indie/Alt (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, BMTH) Subs & Special Guests 1- Pop (charli) 5- Rap/R&B/Urban (RTJ, Polo G, Little Simz, AJ Tracey, D-Block) 8- Rock/Indie/Alt (Bastille, DMA's, Frank Carter, Glass Animals, All Time Low, Wolf Alice, Fontaines D.C, Enter Shikari) Also think it is possible MCR, Dua Lipa and Foals (especially) could be other headline acts such as The Killers -> MCR, Billie Eilish -> Dua Lipa, Courteeners -> Foals, etc etc.
  23. Wet Leg are imo, if not a second sub, I reckon special guests - their booking team are very very good, plus they will have supported Harry Styles for his UK dates at that point, so I think it'd make sense. Agreed about most of the crowd not being arsed about female headliners, but I do definitely think we will start getting them sooner rather than later - and would (on the main front) get a pretty positive response, even if it was Cardi instead of Billie, Dua etc.
