    Resale Club 2023

Not sure that's right. I definitely remember a time (2017 I think) when a person outside my group of 4 got my group's tickets in the resale, then when I called See Tickets a few weeks later to see where the tickets were, they said they were being sent to the person who'd made the booking (i.e. the person who'd paid for the tickets). It was okay though as the payer was able to change the delivery address to somebody in the group by calling See Tickets.

    Thanks, that's good to know.

    Resale Club 2023

Did you go in through a direct link to the coach page or via the normal glastonbury.seetickets.com? My theory is if you don't go in via the normal page, you don't receive a vital cookie and eventually get bumped to the holding page whilst locking out the registrations. Same question to @LR10416
  4. To answer the original question, I can see 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' being the 'Tender' moment (if you saw Blur in 2009 you'll know what I mean). It's the last song of the night and we'll all be joining in with the Ah Ah Ah choruses as it brings five fantastic days of partying in the best place on earth to a close. I recorded this on Monday night at the O2 and it was emotional, but with the Glastonbury atmosphere and crowd it'll be ten times better. 20230417_215828.mp4
  5. Well the next few weeks don't look that great. If the Monthly Outlook still looks like this in a month's time, I'll start to worry. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/outlook
  6. I was at the O2 yesterday, and it was pretty subdued until the final third when they let a few of us stand right at the front, presumably to create a bit of atmosphere for the cameras that were filming, although to be fair, a lot of the first half was slower stuff like Tiny Dancer and Candle in the Wind. But even in the final third, most of the people down the front weren't moving that much - surely a reflection of the demographic who can afford those seat prices. As long as the weather behaves itself, the atmosphere will be much better at Glastonbury.
  7. I make a point of blocking out the whole of Monday as busy in my Outlook calendar to put people off arranging any meetings that day. And these days I work mostly from home which helps.
  8. For the past few years, I've packed up late morning Sunday and left my stuff in a nearby lockup. Then collected my stuff around midnight and hiked to Gate A for a 2am bus back to London, and been at work for 9am on the Monday. For me, it's worth travelling through the night to save a day of annual leave.
  9. Not seem him recently, but I saw him 2009 at the Shepherds Bush Empire (unexpectedly supported by U2!) and he was great!

    Deluxe diner

I love a good upmarket restaurant, but for me when you're paying £45 for 2 courses, you're paying for the ambiance as much as the food. And no matter how you dress it up, the Deluxe Diner is a big tent in a muddy field. It may be a novelty, but it's not an upmarket experience and I wouldn't pay that kind of money for it. Especially when you're at Glastonbury and there's a million other things to see and do.
  11. Not impossible, but unlikely given he's in Norway on the Thursday and the Saturday
  12. Both Emily and Yusuf have said in the past they want it to happen. https://www.itv.com/news/2020-06-10/yusuf-cat-stevens-is-back-to-celebrate-an-album-he-made-half-a-century-ago/ https://www.digitalspy.com/music/glastonbury-festival/a654003/glastonbury-want-diana-ross-to-play-a-future-festival/ This could be the year!
  13. Yusuf would be good in the sunset slot. If you saw Leonard Cohen in that slot a few years back you'll know what I mean.
  14. To be fair, I picked up a Springsteen ticket for £20 for his show at the Emirates a few years ago just by turning up. There's always a few with spares on the day.
  15. Wikipedia says David Gray replaced him on the Sunday afternoon in 2000. Just imagine seeing Burt and Bowie on the same day!

I got two £50 London tickets through this link. https://www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium/Events

    Beyonce

I can't see anything available for the London dates - apart from the super expensive packages.

Best I found for London was £152 nosebleeds, which I passed on.
  19. I'll be shocked if she doesn't do the Friday and Saturday of that week too. Interestingly, there are quite a few standard priced seats still available for the previous night (if you're willing to pay over £200 for a not very good seat)
  20. They don't call it surge pricing, but the standard ticket price for that block is £50 to £145. Ticketmaster effectively use surge pricing by redesignating tickets as 'Platinum' even when they're not particularly good.
  21. They're now being sold as 'Platinum tickets' for over £700 a pop. Makes the £145 Block 409 row A ones I turned down earlier look like a bargain!
