  1. I'd suggest the Healing Field for a massage without the nudity/sauna shenanigans. Worth mentioning that Lost Horizon is one of the few areas at Glastonbury that has an additional entry fee.

You should be so lucky. Lucky, lucky, lucky.

Here are a couple of old posts that confirm they did close off the main entrances to the field:
  4. They do naked yoga at 10am every morning at Lost Horizon, if that's your thing. There are massage tents in the Healing fields that do walk-ups, but you may have to queue, depending on when you're there. They tend to be less busy from Friday onwards.
  5. We got to the car just before The Who and somehow managed to get out of a very boggy East car park before it became unpassable. Funnily enough, I got talking to Pete Townshend's niece at the services on the M3. She'd watched The Who from the side of the stage and had obviously had a much easier and quicker exit than we did!

Just bear in mind they might close the field before then if the field gets rammed, like they did for the Rolling Stones and Dolly Parton.
  7. It was dry most of Saturday then blistering hot on the Sunday. Watching Paul Simon (who wasn't very good anyway) was hellishly uncomfortable.
  8. Yes it was fine by the Sunday, although the mud was still quite soft. People were making mudballs and lobbing them at Sting.
  9. I was but I didn't get on site until the Friday, and it didn't actually rain the whole time I was there. The mud was deep and treacherous, but it did eventually dry out. By the Sunday it was dry enough for trainers.
  10. The latest GPS run isn't great. It has a lot of low pressure in the lead up to the festival, but by the end of the run (the first day of the festival) there are tentative signs of improvement. https://www.netweather.tv/charts-and-data/gfs
  11. All to play for. The latest GPS run (which goes up to the day before the festival) is a beauty
  12. Sam Ryder's throat looked very sore. I reckoned he might be miming because of that.
  13. I spent a couple of hours each day at Lost Horizon during the 2019 festival, and it was wonderful place to be, particularly in the scorchio weather. When the taps and showers ran dry elsewhere, they kept them going at Lost Horizon. There was never a wait for the sauna, but the showers sometimes had queues during the morning peak. The longest I waited was about 15 minutes, but most of the time there were no queues. Not all the showers had hot water, so you had to wait a little bit longer for these. The water flow was pretty rubbish though. My only real complaint about Lost Horizon was the lack of loos, so you when you needed to go, you had to find one elsewhere.
  14. Haven't heard much about this recently. Can we assume they dropped the idea for 2022?

    Diana Ross

Here's what that article said: Ms.Ross said “To all the fans across the world, this is my tribute to you.” And it surely is. The beginning of the new decade is going to be full of surprises for fans all over the world. The first big announcement was made a few hours ago when Ms.Ross herself confirmed she is playing “legends” slot at Glastonbury Festival 2020. Her performance at Glasto will be part of her 2020 UK tour marking the release of the forthcoming album. UK performances would take place by the end of 2020 and early 2021. Other european dates seem unlikely at the moment. With regard to the upcoming album, there´s no much information available so far, but we can predict that it will be released around the time of the Glastonbury show. The Diana Ross Fan Club reached that the singer would appear on television shows and radio programs to promote her upcoming work. In addition, a new greatest hits compilation would be released in 2021 which would include classics and a few songs from the forthcoming album. Ms.Ross is going to begin 2020 performing at the Kennedy Center in January and in Las Vegas in February – dates for this engagement haven´t been announced yet. As regards to the Glastonbury concert at the Pyramid Stage on June 28, 2020, what we can say is that she is planning a show based on her UK success that´s why “Chain Reaction”, “I´m Still Waiting” and “When You Tell Me That You Love Me” are going to be included in the setlist. Also, two guest stars would perform with her on stage. One would be a established star and a current star would be the other. Anyway, all this is subject to change. Bear in mind that 2020 will mark Ms.Ross´50th Anniversary as a solo star so more annoucements are going to be made soon. Stay tuned! https://dianarossofficialfanclub.wordpress.com/2019/10/12/diana-ross-is-set-to-tour-the-uk-in-2020/
  16. I bought a 120 litre holdall that converts into a rucksack
  17. Tent thefts. Literally thefts of tents. The relief was palpable when you got back to your tent at the end of the night and it was still there.
  18. I bet there's loads of people who wish they saw Busted instead of Jeremy Corbyn back in 2017 😄
