I was referring to general life, not the farm. The requirement is that the World Cup is free to air so the BBC could leave it to other providers. It’s hard. Occasionally I visit a ‘spoons and feel bad about it. But it’s hard to only engage with businesses aligned with your own standards

Are the western brands sponsoring spared the boycott? Coca-Cola, McDonalds, Adidas etc, plus the BBC and ITV maybe. But boycott for the duration of the tournament or forever?

Back from a period where I was banned from the site (no idea why). Great to see so much interest in the thread. I take the volunteering day with work and they even asked me to do a 15 webinar on it to encourage volunteering internally. It's old fashioned thinking to suggest it should fall outside the scope of employer volunteer days.

Fair play to all the paid staff if they get a 20% pay rise. They put on a good show. Plus energy costs are sky high, logistics costs are bigger etc etc
