  1. 🤣🤣 it heated up faster than the beans
  2. Haven’t seen this posted for a while. I like seeing shift patterns for the nostalgia
  3. Yes, but it’s louder and everyone is talking over everyone else
  4. It’s all very civilised, I promise you… Until midnight and then it’s like the SE corner.
  5. The purpose of this forum is lost productivity 😂 I do agree with the sentiment though, commit to checking the page regularly and it will happen
  6. Either day. Loads of space in the Oxfield too so there is no rush. This picture was Monday evening
  7. That’s right. Glasto you have to change all three shifts and the chances are, if you are trying to swap for a particular headliner, everyone else is trying to do the same. But you might get lucky. Other Oxfam festivals I have worked, you can swap just one shift.
  8. I met so many lovely people at the Arcadia crew bar at this meet. Was really friendly and welcoming
  9. You can’t do it. You won’t get in. Wrist banding closes on Tuesday evening
  10. According to the Facebook page 60,000 people tried to get an Oxfam place this morning. That’s incredible if true although I suspect it might be 60,000 devices rather than people. Still, even with 3 devices per person that a staggering amount of demand.
  11. There are always places that come up after the main ticket resale.
  12. Let the dust settle, every year there are issues and sometime the payment shows as being made but then lands back in the account the same day. If the payment ‘sticks’ wait for the confirmation email. If it doesn’t arrive send an email to the office to confirm. You won’t get a response today anyway as, from what I understand, it’s a tiny back office function. Fingers crossed for everyone on here
  13. No way all festivals book out today. It’s a glitch
  14. Sold. You had me at 3 jam wagon wheels btw
  15. I have a website and want this thread to reconsider wagon wheels and reach arounds. I’m selling

  17. I’ve managed to get places for friends when several of us were logged in at the same time on one account. Typically all Glastonbury places are reserved in the first minute and it doesn’t hold your place if you have it in your basket (so to speak). So the time it takes to enter credit card details is a factor. Get shortcuts saved into your device as every second counts. But… I agree with comments from @Scrump, when payments don’t go through for various reasons, the places suddenly become available again. This is also the case after the 7 days cooling off, after the main ticket resale and randomly when the festival plugs gaps in staffing. There wasn’t a regular on this thread who didn’t get to the festival in 2022. TL;DR - from Scrump’s post above… “If you're prepared and persevere... You will be at the farm!”
  18. I agree with this. Even the slightly mad Ata Kak was good fun a few years ago
  19. Exactly, Bonobo was great in 2022 and I’d never seen them live. Such a good stage for me for seeing acts for the first time
  20. I’m not keen on Elton John or Guns an’ Roses. Both a bit meh. Hoping for better news on other stages
  21. Thanks. Really appreciate that
  22. Everyone is welcome I will no doubt get roasted for my controversial comments in this podcast (Glasto chat is 11 mins in)

  24. Just realised you can leave an embedded link just like YouTube videos. How cool is that
