  1. Two Door, Wombats , Vaccines or Kooks are all on other lineups this year, they seem the right kinda band to do it
  2. overmono seem like the closest "in thing" to be able to pull of the Park at the minute, Prospa doing a live set would be ideal but that just wouldn't pull a crowd big enough i don't reckon
  3. ahahaah they are genuinely the two top things i want to do there 😂 i can't say i'm not gonna get absolutely spangled at night, but yeah during the day just wanna take some time to take it in and appreciate where i am
  4. I'm in the same boat this year. Not going to be a sober one but will be spreading it out and drinking out of enjoyment rather than seeking an end goal of drunkeness. Went very hard last year on all accounts and whilst it's fun and all, this year I want to experience a lot of the stuff i didn't last year because i was too busy getting wonky. Really want to do the healing fields more this year and get involved in that, even just having a cup of tea in the morning or appreciating the food outlets more (think i maybe had 3 meals in all last year)
  5. Another vote here for Sam Fender , don't think anyone of any stature would want to go on after that

completely forgot about silver hayes in its entirety 😅, yeah they'd go down well on Lonely Hearts Club
  7. nah i think people were just throwing names out there of touring 'novelty nostalgia' acts that could fit avalon (having said that i'll now be bitterly disappointed if they're not there in some capacity - they'd be a right good laugh)

Did Arcadia last year, doesn't necessarily rule them out but can't quite see where they'd go from there unless they did a late night SEC set or high up on a stage like Woodsies or Park but agreed they're a great booking, they smashed it last year would love to see them there again
  9. if i recall correctly they were just off of West Holts or just into Williams Green, along that stretch of patch
  10. Charlotte on the Temple would be obscene. i'll see you front and centre. actually really intrigued to see who they put on temple this year, aside from IICON it's my fave venue and experience, i'd go absolutely feral for a bit of BUFO or interplanetary criminal
  11. JLS will be an obscene crowd, absolutely no doubt in my mind they'd shut that place off
  12. agreed, these are a cracking 'weird' booking for a sunny afternoon , their tiny desk is belter
  13. i think it was published on some articles that they were playing despite them not being on the poster from what i've heard others say
  14. seeing as she's on a couple of lineups against this year, i'd love to see Sophie Ellis-Bextor make an appearance. seems made for Avalon or a nice afternoon WH slot
  15. Nova twins and Ezra collective for me (bit of change of genre between them) but hoping to check out both if i can Texas was a band that I know the songs of because they're huge, but never attributed them to the band
  16. Rad Burger have confirmed they're coming back, they were a cracking little stall last year (and local to me back home) so will definitely be revisiting them
  17. Chvrches into Fred would be a beauty of a way to spend an evening
  18. nah no news but i'd like to think they're slipping into that territory, but last year they were a replacement for a band (can't recall who) so I would like expect to see them this year on the grounds of "2022 didn't count" ethos. I like Avalon but i'd love them early doors on a different stage
  19. Yeah if this is the case it's a severely uninspired booking for me

    Leftfield

agreed, Fred Again > Leftfield > any late night dancey place seems like a beautiful little run
  21. Hobo Jones and the Junkyard dogs of course Reef again, they were quality last year and it meant i got to see most of Sugababes so an added bonus The War & Treaty - walked past Avalon to catch them and they had the best band chemistry of the weekend, a massive highlight for me The Darkness would be a great little show as well , also smaller bands in 'Courting' and 'Somebody's Child' will be great additions
  22. yeahhh i can't see them headlining park or WH (although i'd be all over that like a rash) think they're too big. too big to go before capaldi on Saturday i think , so clashing with Royal Blood seems pretty reasonable in my head
  23. really hoping for that early evening sunset slot on an open air stage, my best guess would be Other (unsure on what knowledge we have, but subbing saturday would be an awesome slot to have them in edit: i would very much prefer the friday as going from being a little bit wonked at alt-j and having to head to GnR seems like a fever dream
  24. first pic, Glasto 2019 - Sonic Stage, Ross From Friends second pic, Glasto 2022 - Sonic Stage, Ross From Friends it was a very nice 'full circle' moment for me
