  1. I think most dates were announced that day too.
  2. His Italy gig is on Saturday 24th June, so he could still squeeze in a late afternoon slot at Glastonbury on the Friday. Not really expecting him though.
  3. Clicked on the dice tickets link for this on songkick and it takes you to Rihanna - Anti performed by a live orchestra in Manchester. Quite the mix up!
  4. Black Country, New Road have since self-confirmed for Sunday and everyone else who’s confirmed a day is in poster order, even further down the lineup, so I think Speakers Corner Quartet have just got the wrong day at this point. Maybe they were Sunday originally and that changed to Saturday at some point?
  5. I’m not expecting any more big names, feel like we’ve got the bulk of the top two stages but expecting some padding out of the second stage and DJs. I put the acts into a clashfinder a while ago based on the order on the website and the main stage looks pretty full already. Yeah I found this a bit odd, especially given it’s not really a family orientated lineup. Maybe the Friday but that more just appeals to parents rather than kids too. I did think the Saturday might have sold out by now and feel like the Friday will do ok in the end but yeah, not convinced it’s selling well either. I‘ll probably end up going on the Saturday and still haven’t got round to buying a ticket, suspect there’s plenty of others in a similar situation.
  6. Nah it’s just a standard thing that seems to happen for festivals where the day isn’t confirmed yet. For example, Carly Rae Jepsen won’t be playing all five days at Glastonbury, it’s just so they don’t put down a specific day.
  7. He’ll only play one day at that festival. Could easily play Glastonbury on Friday/Saturday and then head over to Bucharest on Sunday.

    2024 Headliners

    Depeche Mode, Dua Lipa, Madonna
  9. You may have done so already but now the poster is out, are you able to share that info you heard but couldn’t share?
  10. Makes sense yeah. If Elton does a long set then it’ll be hard to do TWOD and then get a good spot at Elton.
  11. Early days but I made a clashfinder for this: https://clashfinder.com/s/connect2023/ The order/stage splits are just based on the order the acts are listed on the line-up page on the website. A couple of things seem a bit odd (Friday main stage mainly) but Saturday and Sunday look pretty realistic for what I'd have expected.
  12. There’s not really any days I’m desperate to go too but I hope Connect does well. I had a great time on The National day last year, it’s a good event if they can make it work. I’ll probably end up going on the Saturday as my girlfriend is quite into Fred and Roisin Murphy, and Young Fathers, Muna, Biig Piig, Kelly Lee Owens plus those two makes for a decent day. I feel like each day appeals to a different crowd, so I’m not sure how many weekend tickets they’ll sell. Hopefully it’s a success though, it’s nice to see DF taking some risks with headliners.
  13. You can’t beat some coloured rectangles for getting the Glastonbury buzz going.
  14. You’re very welcome. Lots of guesswork as always but enough there for a good weekend for me.
  15. Of course it‘s fine for people to like different things, I certainly don’t like any of the Guns N’ Roses songs I mentioned! Not suggesting anyone should go and listen to them, just very surprised that people have managed to live their life without being subjected to Sweet Child of Mine. I suppose I grew up not knowing any Prince songs so it can happen but yeah, just very odd to me.
  16. I don’t know, those songs came out well before my time but I certainly knew them without seeking them out. There’s probably an argument that Sweet Child Of Mine is one of the biggest rock songs of all time, I’m baffled by anyone who hasn’t heard it. I certainly haven’t ever gone out my way to listen to them but Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise City are also massive songs I knew.
  17. Moved to Bellahouston on Tuesday 27th. It's happening.
  18. The discord also has direct links back to eFests, Glasto Chat, reddit etc.
  19. He’s playing a solo set at the festival too. I thought we’d avoided him as I think that’s his first European gig this summer but unfortunately not. He’s pretty high up too, wouldn’t be too shocked if he got something like Park headliner.
  20. She’s playing in Italy that night. Just wait for them to chuck Manic Street Preachers back on the Park and we’re close to a 2020 Friday night without the allure of Kenny for you.
  21. He's now doing two nights, so that's just one standalone gig left to announce. Wonder when we'll hear about the festival itself, I'm guessing they'll start properly teasing it next week with maybe an announcement next Friday, tickets on sale the following week.
  22. Would like to see M83 play but they’re in Prague on the 24th and then Paris on the 27th. Could play either side of the Prague date but strange to pop over to the UK twice in one week.
  23. That doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
  24. Roskilde’s main days don’t start until after Glastonbury so I wouldn’t worry about this.
