  1. Jessie Ware has moved her tour to May/June and looks like she'll be about for Glastonbury
  2. That's very true, it would be pretty late to announce a full world tour and it doesn't look too promising that there aren't many other festivals left which he could be playing if this was the case. But as someone suggested on another thread, it could simply be the case that Glasto have managed to hold onto the 2020 booking regardless of any world tour, whereas other festivals have dropped him due to uncertainty from Kendrick's end or because they wanted to get their line up (and tickets) out earlier than they would be allowed to announce - which obviously isn't an issue for Glastonbury as it's sold out. This might just be wishful thinking, but most rumours have pointed to him so far so I don't think we can write him off yet 🤞
  3. It won't be Glasto's decision to delay until then, would be Kendrick's team. He is famously elusive around album releases and this one's particularly highly anticipated after 5 years of waiting. If his album rollout is planned to begin following the Super Bowl performance - which seems to be the case for the other artists performing - then he'll likely be saving any show announcements until after it to keep the suspense. Which adds up with Emily saying we'll have news by the end of the month. (anyone got any more straws?)
  4. Remember this 👀 Think Emily ruled them out for 2020 later in the year though

Regarding Super Bowl - Snoop Dogg has just announced an album dropping 13th February. Mary J Blige has just announced an album coming out 11th February. Eminem album rumoured in the coming weeks. Dr Dre posted on Insta saying the performance will introduce the next saga of his career, and said the other day in this interview that it will probably be a 'springboard' for the other stuff they've all got planned. In line with this, I would guess that Kendrick's album rollout starts following this performance (I doubt it'd be a part of the show itself). Wouldn't necessarily mean anything for Glastonbury specifically, as he may well drop the album this year and still not play Glasto - but wishful thinking suggests there could be some movement coming in line with the rumours of him playing. Also could be why he's not announced any other shows/festivals yet.
  6. I assume it'll be a DJ set if it's on Pangea so not quite as big a deal their usual live sets, plus that crowd area is colossal
  7. Edit - shit sorry, meant to post this in the Tour Announcements & Upcoming Gigs thread
  8. Skrillex, Willow Smith & Mura Masa by any chance, or is she sitting on another big one? This is sounding promising anyway: https://www.instagram.com/skrillex/tv/CZIQoVhpPtL/?utm_medium=copy_link Very buzzing to hear the Anz tune on Friday
  9. Rolling Loud seem to be insisting on it by the looks of things, even though he got bottled at the California one in December. They are also the promoter for his recently cancelled US Tour. Seems to be a few other festivals and promoters booking him. Fuck knows how his agent is managing that.

Super Bowl Halftime Show trailer just dropped featuring Kendrick:
  11. Was going to say they probably got it from someone on here the other day saying they heard Macca will be announced 'imminently' - but to be fair they are followed by some fairly credible and verified Glasto-related accounts including BBC Glastonbury, Jo Whiley, Arcadia and loads of the area Twitter accounts - so maybe there is something coming
  12. Keem is Kendrick's younger cousin, would be surprised if he's not on the line up if Kendrick is. Had one of the best albums of the year for me last year
  13. He's been playing it in the US recently, so I reckon it would be in the setlist for sure. I was ready to cry during A.P.I.D.T.A. I got an email directly from Bristol Beacon about it last Thursday as that's who I'd bought my tickets through - actually can't see the official rescheduled date for the Bristol one but looks like a few of the other UK dates have been moved to September. According to the Seetickets link posted by @FloorFiller it looks like the London and Manchester dates are still on - but I'm thinking if the other UK shows are cancelled these won't happen either. If not I'll maybe try and make it through for one of the London dates.
  14. Jay Electronica in Bristol on the 22nd Jan postponed along with his full UK tour it seems, gutted but not surprised

New Ye song coming tomorrow supposedly, unsure whether it's his own or a feature. Has been working on 'Donda 2' this week as well as albums for The Game and Pusha T, and been in the studio with Big Sean, ASAP Rocky, DJ Premier, Mike Dean and others. Hopefully some of these projects will actually see the light of day.
  16. Would love to have Griselda, Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, Baby Keem, Dixon, King Giz, Adam Port, Nilüfer Yanya, Turnstile, Cordae, Phoebe Bridgers, The Avalanches, Big Sean, Floating Points, Jamie XX, Run The Jewels, J.I.D., Vince Staples, beabadoobee, Badbadnotgood, Viagra Boys, Arlo Parks, Solomun, Denzel Curry, Damian Lazarus, Princess Nokia, black midi, Logic1000, Fred Again, DJ Koze, and of course Ye.
  17. I could see Harry Styles headlining one day - certainly big enough and is a British superstar, however I strongly doubt that he would be booked (to headline) this year. I'd argue him and Billie Eilish have a lot of fanbase crossover and I don't think they would want two headliners who cater strongly to this side of the crowd as it would be very pop-heavy (aware the line up has been indie/rock-heavy in the past but I would say attitudes have changed for festival headliners since then). As mentioned by others already, plenty safer bookings I think they'd go for this year before booking another gen-z big hitter with Billie already on the line up.
  18. Don't let me convince myself this is a possibility out of false hope, would be hugely delighted if they booked him again but sadly I can't see it happening

Haha yeah the social media onslaught would be something else. Would be a dream booking for me personally and I believe it would go down well on the day, but can't see Emily booking him ever again based on: - His ridiculous stage demands (and probably equally ridiculous fee) - His controversial politics/behaviour, likely upsetting some people involved (off the top of my head Edith Bowman tweeted strongly against him last year in response to Marilyn Manson's involvement with Donda) - Emily's comments on his headline performance last time in that BBC Glastonbury documentary they showed in 2020 - if I remember correctly she made it sound like it was pretty stressful, to me it didn't sound like she'd be jumping to book him again Would love to be proved wrong on that though

Sadly saw a tweet debunking this earlier - showing that the source code once the timer expires links to a number of phishing/porn sites:
