  1. Very happy to see Hak Baker there, and even more so that it's an acoustic set:
  2. As Dixon's doing his Transmoderna show I think he'll be in the Gas Tower to make use of 360' AV visuals. Looks like Folamour's going to be making use of this too with an AV show so would expect to see him on there. Bicep and Max Cooper were among the biggest dance acts on this stage last year and played at 1am - so probably some time around that, but it could really be anytime. From that line up I wouldn't be surprised to see the likes of Jamie Jones, Bonobo, Maribou State, Absolute, Archie Hamilton, Partiboi69, Fatboy Slim, Fumez the Engineer playing Gas Tower too. Saoirse and TSHA might be ones for The Sistxrhood.

    Kendrick Lamar

New folder on the oklama website (oklama.com/master), looks like it may be a double album 👀
  4. Kendrick is my only 100% must see headliner at the moment from those we know are definitely headlining a stage. There are a fair few decent potentials there I'd be happy with but nothing I'm too precious about - I'm sure this will change when the full line up is out though. Admittedly I'm a bit gutted he's on Sunday as by that point of the festival in 2019 my voice was long gone, so I'll have to take better care this year.

    Arcadia?

100%, he plays a different set to these EDC/Vegas type crowds and he mentions this in the interview I linked in my previous post. Saying that I don't think it will be like that Summertime Ball set either, more like his lockdown streams with a few remixes of his own tunes sprinkled in. Ah I didn't know that, I was just going on Arcadia's comment below that it was his first time playing which I did find surprising - they must be meaning his first time as a DJ. I first saw him play live around the same time as that in between I Created Disco and his sophomore album when he was still singing, definitely wasn't as bad as he makes out.

    Arcadia?

Calvin Harris on Arcadia is quite a mad one for his first time at the festival - he's arguably the biggest artist on the entire Glastonbury line up in some metrics bar Paul, with 14+ UK no. 1s. Regarding his set, I'd wager a guess that he'll take advantage of the context and play a bit more towards his house / techno influenced side he's been punting with Love Regenerator - less of a full on brutal EDM set he plays in Vegas like posted above and more like his lockdown streams, which featured tunes from the likes of Floorplan, Trance Wax and FJAAK. Probably still get some of his hits as remixes as well as some of the Love Regenerator productions, which are still very much on the pop side of house music but harmless stuff. The Love Regenerator launch was dampened a bit by lockdown and I reckon he'll now be merging the names for (UK) festival sets like this so he can do a bit of both. He was rumoured to be playing Glasgow's Riverside Festival b2b with Skream back in 2020 along with this original Arcadia booking, so reckon these were booked in a similar vein. If he wanted to make a bag and play the same stuff he plays out in a typical set he'd be headlining the Other Stage. If anyone hasn't seen, worth having a watch/listen of his interview with Annie Mac back from when he announced the Love Regenerator alias - pretty interesting and funny chat about him making music he actually likes, and the negative connotations of the 'Calvin Harris' name.

    Kendrick Lamar

Hoping this too and definitely looks like this will be the case with that page set up. There is a YouTube link embedded in the source code of that page (ty Reddit for this knowledge) which I'm wishfully thinking will be The Heart pt. V with an accompanying video (like the first one ever which TDE uploaded) this Friday. Would be a nice victory lap ahead of his final TDE release.

Hugely excited for Pusha's on Friday too, the tracklist is looking stacked. Some very promising odds there

    Kendrick Lamar

Seriously hyped about this, was really hoping he'd have more new material out before the festival - bodes very well for the headline performance as the attention this album will get is huge. Can understand the delays, there's a lot of pressure for this to solidify him as one of the greatest ever, and to go 4 for 4 in releasing some of the most celebrated albums in hip hop (5/5 with Section 80 as well but it obviously didn't have the same impact as the 3 albums which came after). I wouldn't be surprised if there's a comeback single coming this Friday or next, seems to be the way album rollouts work in this streaming era and it would make sense to keep the momentum up. I suppose Kendrick doesn't really abide by industry standards though so who knows. At least 13th May isn't too long away anyway. Based on Instagram shares, some of the producers involved are The Alchemist, Boi-1da, Terrace Martin, Cardo, DJ Dahi and Sounwave, and Anderson Paak is a potential feature also. Hoping we get that Little Simz feature, and Jorja Smith would be nice too. It's possible that he's been teasing the Mr Morale theme in his last two performances - the choreography is consistent and somewhat fits with the name. Bit of a reach but it's something Kendrick would do to introduce his new era.
  11. Apologies - I did have a look and couldn't see it. Third time lucky, could I please try 'sildante'?

  13. Hi @Neil/ @eFestivals Just wondering if it would be possible to change my username to "c!n" (without quotations)? If this is too few characters then let me know. Cheers and all the best
  14. Great post, you're really tempting me to move my 7am Weds National Express coach from Bristol to an earlier one (arrives 8.15am, bought a flexi-ticket though so it can be changed).
  15. Love to see this, was really hoping they'd take this tour over here.
  16. I've just done the same thing as I can now see I've missed that has been mentioned already over the last page or two - apologies. On the subject of Sigrid, also had info of her playing John Peel tent - not headlining or subbing so presumably third down. Seems like a crazy drop from her 2019 billing, but if it turns out to be accurate then it does seem like she is actually seeking lower/modest slots, which could be for a number of reasons.
  17. Might be misunderstanding you, but are you suggesting I've made that up?
  18. With that in mind, Burna Boy on Saturday with Megan following does sound more logical - only reason I'd guessed Friday for him too is because of where it came from, but that part was 100% speculation
  19. Info, a few other bits sub-wise are Arlo Parks subbing Park Stage and Bonobo subbing West Holts. These could be subject to change but certainly was the plan a week or two ago. Not sure which days but would guess all three are on Friday - nothing solid on that though.

    Glastocam!

Looks like Arcadia/Pangea's crane base is still there which I'm happy to see - thought their plan to keep it all year round was rejected?
