Still queuing at Gate A. But moving very quickly.

Just up at Tricketts. It is really busy already. Incredible scenes.
-
Gate D queue is still massive, from webcam. How is the queue on the A361, is it queueing back to Glastonbury
-
Sticklinch A Team for me, and my number is 20 which also does not appear to exist
-
Looking on the webcam and the Gate D queue is fookin massive. I can see that the gates aren't open yet
-
How are the queues along the A361 into the west side at the moment?
-
My mate is a steward at gate d. The queue is massive. He thinks they are opening very soon. But they have to wait for Michael to open Gate A.

I just chilled out, had a breakfast and waited for the queues to die down. Especially with the potential heat tomorrow -

Looks like they are spacing vans out a bit. Field is a bit of a contrast to 2016 -
Park Hill near Tricketts, Wed or Thur afternoon. Make sure loads of people are around. Should get a massive cheer.

Looks ok so far, on google and on travelsomerset No idea if you can get through Pilton on the A361, its certainly restricted from the other way. -
Thanks Dee, PD & Arlo, truly entertaining and informative over the last 3 weeks.

Wednesday arrival - Park Home / central campsite options?

yep -
I don't think so, because I don't think there is access on that end bit to Pilton, some of those back roads are restricted. @parsonjack would know for sure. Rather than turning south for Shepton Mallet, carry straight on to Wells. A reasonably close post code is BA6 8NB

M4 > J18, then A46 > Bath, then A36 through Bath, then A39 > Wells > Glastonbury, then A361 > West Car Parks. That's probably the easiest route, slightly longer than others, and may be a bit slow through Bath.

Do Brothers still do the "Festival Strength" stuff at their bar? Also is it still Perry or is it all Apple now?

maybe don't have your car park sticker on display and so they don't usher you into Blue or Purple. The put it on your dash/windscreen after you pass purple

Just when I thought I might try and get some work done today!

Son's best mate (who he spent all day with on Friday) tested positive yesterday. Really thought hard about it, but tested Son and Me this morning and both negative. TFFT. -
Which route to take, where to park and camp Wednesday afternoon
al_coholic replied to dingbat2's topic in Chat
There will be plenty of camping space on Wednesday afternoon on the west side of the site, apart from Pennards and Oxylers. The east side around the pyramid will be busy but you should be able to squeeze in somewhere. If you are coming from Norfolk and are heading to the west side, you could get on the M4>A46>Bath>A36>A39>Wells>Glastonbury
