    Glastocam!

I can't remember how to share pics from the camera, but someone should share a pic of the noticeboard!
  2. I want to go to Afterlife Tulum. Truly looks like nothing else anywhere. However, if anyone watched Peggy Gou at Coachella, her backdrop was pretty impressive as well. Sadly we won't be getting that on the Park stage anytime soon.
  3. Agreed but sadly it is not up to the standard of even Reading/Leeds, let alone something truly brilliant like Afterlife.
  4. There will be loads of space in Riggs Field on the Friday
  5. Vodafone has taken over from EE, an INIU 20000mah power bank is relatively cheap and should see you through the weekend unless you hammer your phone. Pyramid and Other stage both have barriers at the front. Avalon Inn has changed layout and is not as good as 10 years ago. The upper deck seating area is always rammed. IICON and The Temple are amazing stages if you consider they are in a field in the middle of Somerset. Same goes for the pier. A lot has changed, and a lot is basically the same.
  6. Is there a bus to Shepton Mallet? If so, there is a Tesco there. Otherwise it would be bus to Glasto Town and then a walk to one of the supermarkets
  7. It is very difficult to get close at all. You certainly cannot get close to the bus station, and I think you would most likely be blocked from the Private Bus and Taxi Rank as well. I have seen cars pull over at the side of the road by the crossing near Pink 51, but your friends would have to come out of the site to meet you, and you would have to be incredibly quick. The correct answer is for them to meet you at the proper drop off point at the B&W showground.
  8. Also, if you have no luck, then they could go Gen Pop and camp in Rigg's Field which is right by the entrance to Sticklinch and normally has plenty of space.
  9. I would keep an eye on the booking page for the next couple of weeks. The final cancellation deadline is 23:59 on the 3rd May, there will probably be the odd tent pop up between now and then and possibly for a few days after.
  10. £69,600 inc. VAT wow. I think this wins the most expensive award, luckily I don't have 13 friends otherwise I would be tempted. 🤔
  11. It's the Halfords 4 person tunnel tent. It's not strictly a blackout tent, but the inner bedroom is black and it is considerably cheaper than the proper Quecha ones
  12. Cheaper than Sticklinch and Worthy View 2 man tents as well.
  13. What's your budget? Halfords have one at £135, or you can go full Quecha F&B Air for about £400
  14. I got one at 11:22. Was bonkers how fast tents were coming and going in that 22 mins. Couldn't click fast enough. But just refreshed and refreshed and got one. Very relieved.
  15. Wow got in at 09:02 and no 2 person tents left at all. Only 4 person. And they have all gone now as well
  16. Fibre to the long drop. Hilarious
  17. Each individual reg number can book 2 tents
  18. How did the resale groups get on this morning?
  19. Not a sniff of an Add Registrations page here.
  20. I've got mine set at 3 seconds and no visible change to the page

    Taking a baby

I took my son in 2005 at just under 5 months old. We did have a campervan so it made it significantly easier. The wednesday and thursday were lovely, the weather was dry and the ground was dry and we could just put down a mat and sit on it and chill out. Friday morning all hell broke loose on a biblical scale. You may have seen pictures of the tents at the bottom of Pennards. So much rain fell, the site didn't drain so well back in those days. They put straw down to try and soak up the mud, I had a 3 wheeler buggy. The mud and straw clogged the wheels. I ended up carrying the buggy with son in it some times. We bailed on the Sunday afternoon. Wasn't fussed about seeing Basement Jaxx (I think it was). Anyway hope you get tickets and hope its dry!
