Towing vehicle

Hi All,

Has anyone used a camper to tow a folding camper onto 1 pitch?

We managed to get 2 camper van tickets today but now need 3.  We have 2 campers & 1 folding camper for 6 adults & 2 children.  My thinking is that we could do it by towing the folding camper with 1 of the campers, making it look like it's not to be slept in.  We could easily fit the 3 onto 2 pitches.

Has anyone done it, thoughts please.

I didn't notice anybody who had done that last year. Depends what type of camper the towing vehicle is, if it's an obvious camper conversion you might be challenged.

FWIW, I think it's bending the rules too much and you should just try to get the extra ticket...

From GFL website " Each Caravan or Campervan must have a Campervan ticket and each person within the vehicle must have a valid Weekend Festival ticket. Only one Campervan/or Caravan with car may be parked in each approximate 7m x 8m pitch" The full T&C's can be found here http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/accommodation/info-campervans-and-caravans/

It's an interesting point, every year I take my folding camper and tow it with my Mitsubishi Delica which is as big as if not bigger than some people's vans and it's not a problem, and we always have a tent set up in front as well. We don't use it to sleep in (ok once on the Tuesday night) but we use up a lot of space. But I can see how people would wonder if they would get away with towing a trailer tent or folding camper in with a campervan and just make out that the van is purely the towing vehicle.
