National Express From Victoria - Getting an earlier coach

Hi all, I have a coach ticket from Victoria tomorrow for 4pm but ideally want to go earlier. I know people in the past have said you can turn up and they just put people on coaches as they come, even if it's not the time on their ticket. Is this still the case?

No that's only on the way back - your festival ticket will be on the coach you are booked on.  I suppose you could try but it would depend on someone not turning up (I think coaches are fully booked) and them not checking names off and then you'd have to find where your ticket is when you get there.  Can't see it being worth it myself.

National Express buses don't have tickets on them, they're booked seperately to tickets. See buses are the ones that you book as part of the coach/ticket deal.

as for the earlier coach - guess it depends if there's room.. And how by the book the driver will be. Worth a shot I suppose.

Might be a bit late with this, but when I got to the front of the queue at Victoria last year I was about 20 minutes early and they made us wait for those 20 minutes.

On the way back I don't think they even checked the ticket properly. Just waved the print out at the steward as we entered the enclosure and that was it - just went to the coach when called.
