2015 Clashfinder

Hi all,

I've started a clashfinder for this year. I've never done one before and wasn't too sure what I was doing but it's a start atleast.

I've used last years times for now so these may be wrong, especially the new dance tent, where I've used the futures stage times for now.

Calvin Harris, Kasabian, Oliver Heldens and Hannah Wants were easy to place since they're confirmed headliners, and Olly Murs confirmed he's headlining the MTV Stage. For now I've put Tom Jones and Paloma Faith in the same spot that Chic & Nile Rodgers had last year since they're being billed as special guests, as Chic were last year. So far the rest has come from others kindly helping out so if you can help at all and have any thoughts on who might be playing when that would be great.

That's great, thanks. Haven't added the Proclaimers just yet since we don't know which day they're performing where. Also added Clean Bandit and The Kooks to the same arena spots as Annie Mac and Nero since they're on the same level on the line up, but that could be way out on my part.

I think this was covered in the other thread but stereophonics said 'headlining one of the main stages' when they announced it

I don't want to come across as snotty, because I'm sure a lot of people will have a great time. But that looks like the worst weekend of live music imaginable.

For me it could be worse, but it is far from the best line up of festivals lately

Dance tent times are definitely wrong, but I'm not sure what to change them to. Marvin Humes has said his set is "an hour and a bit".

 

“At V it’s just me DJing and Mark Asari, who was the singer on Revive, will be doing a PA. The other boys are going to be there but it’s only going to be like an hour and a bit set so it’s difficult for us all to muck in. It’s great and a really exciting project for me, making the transition from JLS. The DJ/producer world isn’t something that’s happened over night, it’s something I’ve been working on for a long time, and a lot of people still don’t know that I’m part of LuvBug which is great because they’re judging it on the music and not my history, which was my plan from the start.”

 

“The performance is obviously completely different to when I was with JLS but the feeling I get is the exact same,” he says. “It’s still performing ultimately, you’re still going on stage or playing tunes for 90 minutes, it’s a little bit more pressure because you need to make sure you’re judging the crowd right and playing the right tunes, whereas when I was performing with JLS you knew what you were going to get.
