HI Guys

I am going to London for the weekend of this, and have got a Reading day ticket for the Saturday (to see Crosses amongst others), and being an Aberdonian with little to no knowledge of London/Reading, I am in a bit of a pickle. I see the last train leaves Reading Station just after twelve meaning to make that train I'd probably have to miss most of a headliner. Do anyone here have any advice on how to get home, I am staying London Euston area.

Any help would be great. Cheers

It's about a 20-30 minute walk to the station. I used to catch last trains leaving at 11.50 from Reading and left the crowd during the encore to get near the edge, and then the moment the acts all finished I went out the exit just to the left of the main stage (that they only open in the period just after headliners finish). That said, I knew the route well and have a fast walking pace when I want it.

The National Express suggestion is a good one, but that would probably take you to a different area of London and involve a changing route of night-buses as the tubes would stop by then. If you can get on that last train to Paddington, then the tube should still be running on the direct line to Euston, and even if not, it's a single bus rather than 2 or 3.
