Newbie--- 1st Post

Hello everybody, contemplating bringing the inter european tribe to Wychwood and would appreciate some bits and bobs of info--apart from the obvious which i have picked up from the forum so far.

Tribe to include 2 adults --- two offspring 9 and 2 plus one which we are brewing (fermentation complete Aug 6th)

Any info much appreciated.

As you have probably gathered, Den, this isn't exactly the most active of forums.

It seems to consist of ME, Ciderman and TimeBloke - AND someone called 'Wychwood Office' - imagine giving that name to your nipper. Scandalous!!

'Snowangel' is an irregular lurker - pssst. she's Mandylou, from the much missed LT Forum, but don't tell anyone!!...

Hope you can liven it up. You'd think the place would be buzzin' with only weeks to go.

That 'Dessie' thing - I spent three days trying to get it to eat my 'lovely' vegetarian left-overs, before security chucked me out.

We'll have to meet up at last IF you do decide to go.

Aye--- but theres loads to dabble at on the other forums though isnt there. I think we will end up coming... but i am a little concerned that the sight of the racecourse might make my mind wander to wallets lost on selections going over the last and up the hill!

We have got shot of our tranny now that the tribe are growing--we`ve got a proper Meet the Fockers affair now--friggin huge it is.. old but does the job... and if the weather turns it at least means we can get some respite.

The ORANGE MAN will be seen flying hopefully through the summer and it would be good to meet up with some forumites.

Any fancy dress?

Ey--- Wychwood Office has a certain ring to it i think... we may consider it-- but I dont suppose you would be able to guess what the pups names prob gonna be!

Mmmmnnnnnn... well I`ve just perused the lineup---and O LORDY MAMA --our old maxim of --we dont give a shit who`s on--- would have to hold very true indeed, because (and sorry if i am to upset the whole FOUR of yer)--- i wouldnt, under normal circumstances, open me front door to any of em!!

I suppose we`d get some sleep when that festival GIANT-- Kate Rusty is on, because thats what we did last time we seen her at Larmer!

Ey sorry if i sound shitey negative--i`m not really and do like any live music-- but as i said earlier-- for a 1st visit--it is nice to see someone who is a bit of ones own fav eh, maybe I should put Dessie as my fav? But he isnt/wasnt -- now if there was a statue of ISTABRAQ somewhere to see--- that would fill in Spiers & Boden, Katey and many more... I could sit under Good King Istabraq and roll a big un whilst in the distance, Kates dulcet tones would waft over his bridle,whilst the Brothers Proclaim are backstage comparing diddlers*

Have you checked out the Acoustic fest the week before? That looks really cool for us.

Going to see Martin Simpson tonight--heard him?--abs fab guitaist he is--massively underated imo. Sherman Robertson next week too so a bit to look forward too.

Y`know... we`ve actually got a bit of sun here-- I`ve put on new felt on me shed this morning and done a bit of cutting back of the plants! Is nt that nice eh? Now I`m gonna try an get King Larmer off to sleep as he was awake dead early... then i`ve got a dog to collect to kill... and I`m defrosting some cornish sardines that were sent to us (from Cornwall) --i`m doing Tapas tonight-- y`know I`m f**kin good me... gardeniner, cook, waster,guitarist,cigarette card collector,aquarist,writer AND me sperms still alive at 50yeras old!
