I really fancy adding this in to our list (Damned and Alabama 3 :P - no brainer to me!).

Anyone know why caravans aren't allowed on site, and if there's anywhere for caravans nearby? Since the demise of the festiebus it looks like this is going to be this year's option. Yup, I've done my time in the tent and had a ball but we're spoilt brats now who've been used to a few home comforts at festivals for the last few years

You honestly expect me to remember what you said to me at Loopallu? :P

This festival looks great, will it survive the tactics by some other promoters though?

Har!

Paul, we would have had you and approx. 6 others staying in the "cottage" - if it wasn't an annexe of the owner's house. They were v. nice but the look of horror on their faces when I bumped into them on the festival site, pint in one hand, fag in the other, enthusiastic greeting from moi, was enough to tell me "Dinnae!".

Now, one of Somerled's ideas mentions a horse (been angling for a horse, so will go and discuss this off the boards - sorry for hijacking everyone!).

Scotland's Wizard Festival which takes place at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire have confirmed more acts for the festival which runs from the Friday 22nd until Saturday 23rd August.

The latest confirmed acts include the Scottish trio of musicians McCusker/Drever/Woomble the latter being the frontman and vocalist of indie group Idlewild, an exclusive performance by Proud Mary, reggae and dub specialists Dreadzone, Glaswegian quartet Parka, Latino dub performers The Amigos, and Glasgow everyone emo screamo band Flood Of Red.

The three stages Voodoo, Banshee and Acoustic Stages will welcome established headliners, emerging local bands and everything in-between. The first two nights headliners are confirmed as Supergrass, and the Damned on Friday and Alabama 3 on Saturday. Other acts include The Cinematics and Chris Helme with many more to come in the next few months.

its a caravan park rather than a campsite. Its actually about 17 miles from the festival site though. I just cant think of any closer caravan sites, oh wait there is this one which is 12 miles

or this one which is 8 miles

    • All of these were published in July of their respective year. Appreciate the festival is a little later than normal but it must surely be live in the next 48 hours? The first events start in five days! 🤣
    • Took the words out of my mouth. He never misses.   Definitely adds fuel to the fire.
    • Gavin Leigh Davis on Instagram, the Fabrizio Romano of tour leaks, says Sam Fender outdoor shows and likely festivals next year. Didn't explicitly mention Glastonbury but adds more to the rumour
    • I think a lot of you guys don't see Tate McRae as headliner material however she was originally billed to play back in 2025 and had to pull out (https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/glastonbury-2025-headliners-revealed-tickets-line-up-1235915362/). She sold out out all of her arena shows in 2025 and just brought in huge crowds at Oshega and Lollapalooza. Given that she's gearing up to release the second album it lines her up for a tour run in her same gap as she's usually over here over Glaso weekend. I wouldn't rule her out.
    • I’d expect U2 & Muse to be options too.
