I haven't had my student loans notice through (sent it away on the 12th of Sept) do you get a loan, and if so how long did it take? I know it says 28 days max but its never been that long before.

If you've got your ART ID, password and secret question answer you can go to the website and view your status online, unless its a different company for Scottish students? Which would seem a bit odd seen as the HQ is in Edinburgh

All it says is youve sent the application and can take up to 28 days, you scrounging f**ker, piss off and get a job! Hopefully not that long though.

quite often 7 days a week if you work weekends too! I could never do that now, dunno how I coped when I was at uni!

well this being single thing is a bit up and down to be honest! thursday night i went out with a mate to drown my sorrows and ended up meeting a lovely little lady and spending the night back at her place now ive got to get round to packing all my shit and move back in with the parents for a while i think i wish i could kidnap 'our' cat to take with me but alas he's staying here

I do have a job and go to uni

Wish I could just get an day job and have evening and weekends to myself. Thats such an easy life.

But being a student we have to work harder than the rest of you sometimes starting at 9am and finishing at 11pm because of uni/part time job.

In the past fortnight....

Went out to buy a new tent - came home with a laptop.

Went out to buy some shampoo - came home with a new coat.

Went out to buy paper and a few ring binders - came home with a dvd rack and a new bedside table.

I'm awful for getting distracted and impulse buying!
