I get approached a lot and I do a lot of approaching on nights out. I never really pull though (very rarely). I'm simply not into all that. I prefer striking up a friendship with someone gradually and having some sort of connection with them. They can have me for a while but they can't have me forever, I might return I might not.

Some people might be surprised to hear I haven't had very many 'lovers' at all.

am i the only one here that doesnt think stalking is a good thing?, when i used to go out all the time it was like, if you like someone go give it a go... very rarely got blown out, most women seem to like confidence

I came back home Friday night proper depressed that I hadn't pulled the girl I was stalking. I'm always depressed when I go out to a club and don't manage to pull!

Absolutely stupid, of course.

I'd like to say

1) brighteyes made me laugh

2) xxclf made me shudder

3) if a member of my family told someone they couldn't go out with me coz it would annoy them and I found out about it, everyone involved would get such a kicking.

4) Re: asking fathers to marry their daughters. My parents would approve of it. I would issue another kicking all round.

Inner strength. Knowing you are essentially a good person and believing as such you will get what you deserve. Even just chatting to strangers without a view to getting them into bed. A few bits of eye contact with someone you don't know, and a lil smile or a wink.

Depends if the person you are looking at is a wink recipient. If they look a bit embarrassed, but in a cheeky demure way, then the wink works.

Or it used to. Apparently twelve thousand years of evolved mating habits have been superceded by coloured stickers.

don't wink! u should never trust a winker, but don't stare either cos that's creepy too. occassional blinking can set the right mood. you could even try blinking in morse code to send subliminal messages that your victim will unconciously read and be influenced by, never works with me tho

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
