Yeah it was a good show, So much so Ive recorded it, but was more a show of big name matches mixed with top rated matches, and big matches like the world title changing hands rather than the ten best matches of the year.

It really would, especially how 'hurt' Bret was in the past.

But I think the only reason he's signed on to WWE is for his own ego, he says its so he can try and get the Dynasty over, but I doubt that, its so he can get some of the limelight again, and not be remembered for his w*nk WCW career as the end of his career.

If he was to jump to TNA right now he would be buried amongest the Hogan, Flair, Hall, Waltman & Nash reuniting. Maybe even RVD if he came in, I'd say theres more chance of Jeff Hardy showing up than Bret.

I really hope RVD debuts in TNA next week, that would have a huge impact I think [sorry for the pun]

Scott hall and the icp were invited to that event when they were in the frontrow. Hall behaved well then and sold the moves by reacting to everything, it was the icp who sat on their hands that were the problem.

In a way that Doctor Who has cleared the past and is starting afresh, I believe TNA will do the same

Bashar gone, Deaner gone, maybe Billy Gunn/Kip James whatever you know him as gone too

Daniels, Styles, Wolfe, Joe, Angle all at the forefront in the main event

THREE no.1 contenders for the TNA title in Angle by beating Wolfe and Stlyes saying he will give him a title shot, Joe winning the briefcase title shot, and Lashley winning the tornament. They have plenty to build on there

Awesome Kong and Hamada fueding with Wilde and Surita for the knockout tag

The X divison has a fresh start, and we know Bischoff loved the cruiserweight divion on Nitro, I expect it to rise again after its been way underutilised in recent months

Interesting what they will do with Nash/Young/World Elite and especially the Global title [which is a horrid name] Remember nash said Hogan has plans for it.

Will be loving the nWo reformation ith Hall, Waltman & Nash, I don't care I will mark out even if they can't use the nWo name.

I would like to see Flair come in, They announced Sting would be on Impact months ago but he isn't on the latest press release so I dunno if he will be on Mondays show

The absolute biggest thing TNA could do on Monday is have gotten RVD to sign up. Its not out the question and would make a statement. RVD is only 38 he's a major star, former WWE champion who they then wasted, he's over to f**k, but stale as f**k in WWE in the past, TNA should sign him up and let him have mic time! He could be a MAJOR different in TNA building a higher fanbase.

The only other hot free agent is Jeff Hardy. But I can't see that one happening

Obviously Tommy Dreamer is coming in soon, but im not sure if he has to wait 3 months, or jump straight away. Dreamer will have some nice midcard matches with Abyss, Raven, Richards and Foley. But won't make a difference in the ratings

Id also love to see the Guns face the Young Bucks on Monday but im not sure if the Bucks can start yet

WWE meanwhile has laid on DX v Jerixhow for the straps and Kofi v Orton. Both matches have already been seen lots in the past months, their one bullet is Bret Hart. But he can't be on for the whole two hours.

I will watch the whole of Impact if I were in the states and just youtube Brets appearence, cus obviously it will be there straight away.

Anyway let the good times roll again, I hope TNA get a regular Monday slot as a result of this but yeah I don't see much changing ratings wise unless they get a huge in their prime star like RVD to sign up.

The thing is, Im a wrestling fan, not a TNA fan, I started watching WWF in 1989, I watched both WWF and WCW and as much ECW that I could when they were avaliable on TV. I watched Saturday afternoon WCW on ITV, I watched NItro on TNT, I watched ECW on Bravo, I watched every show WWF ever put out be it Wrestling Challenge, Superstars, Prime Time, Raw, Shotgun, Heat, Smackdown or whatever.

Then in the past few years Ive watched more and more TNA. If there was other wrestling on TV Id watch that too.

Im not biased towards TNA but I absolutely hate how over produced WWE is this days, It pains me to watch, so I rarely do, being 20 year fan Ive seen it change so much, if TNA didn't exist and there was no other wrsetling on TV id probably lap up what WWE do or go in search on Ring of Honour on the net or Dragon Gate. But I enjoy the TNA show, I know its not perfect but I prefere it as its more gritty than the WWE, big glitz, stale promos, same guys doing the same moves, all being the same, a carbon copy of each other.

I miss the WWF of old. The talent is there, its just not clicking for me.

Anyway, obviously im routing for TNA because then WWE will get there act together and try harder! Which is good for wrestling fans.

Yeah, but you can get what, a decent match every two weeks? And even then its short and edited to hell.

Admittedly, WWF is no great shakes at the moment (although in fairness, it looks to be changing a little) which is why I now focus on UFC. But TNA is still generally awful. And when Joe, AJ etc are all buried so deep by March, will you still by hyped for it?

No one is talking about it because its yet another new start for TNA. We had one Christian defected, when Kurt Defected, during the Joe v Angle fued in 2008, and now when Hogan has signed. At the end of the day, whats really going to change? at the end of the day, bugger all.

We've all see Hogan ad nauseam. We havent seen Bret. And for fans our age, Bret is genuniely interesting becuase of the circumstances of his departure. Hogan is Hogan, Flair is Flair and RVD is RVD. We've seen it a million times before.

TNA are good at wrestling, which is great as it is a wrestling show. TNA are bad at gimmick matches and promos, which is a shame because they make up the majority of the show they choose to put out.

TNA could make a great show if they focussed on the wrestling aspect, but they try too hard to be WWE. Too many promos, too many gimmicky matches, too much time on the mic. They can not compete with WWE on production and never will, but they can in pure wrestling. So why do they still spend literally more than half the show (usually well over) cutting poorly done promos, often from people with zero mic skills?

I can totally understand why luckysalt is so passionate about TNA, many of the matches of the year come from TNA as do many of the future potential ones, yet there are very few impacts that are actually even watchable. That is my view of it, and why I would not sit through TNA to see 10 good minutes of wrestling, when I could watch probably 90 minutes of "watchable" if not overly enjoyable or spectacular Raw.

Paying for a house show however, would be an entirely different matter.

They should turn a new leaf and use the undoubted talent they have properly - ie as wrestlers and not "entertainers" like Cena, because they can not cut a watchable show when they are trying to do that.

Me again, Dixie Carter has confirmed the Monday Night 3 hour special won't be on UK screens until Saturday night on Bravo, she's also said that it will sadly just be a edited 2 hour version of the show.

She said they are trying to broadcast it on the TNA website, the unedited version, but it won't be live.
