Is everyone, like me, Down with the Brown?

Watched Big Brother tonight. it was so great i could have wept. This geek from Wigan who likes wearing suits got booed when he went in, and then just as he was about to go in he started HULKING UP. It was so great.

Later on, some Albino bloke went in, carrying a little trophy and declared "The Champ is here". i howled with laughter.

i think they've got them all.

I'll stump up in August for the Lesnar fight and GSP v Jon Fitch. And thank f**k i say, the Bravo coverage is terrible.

Big UFC annoucement on Thursday in New York. Lucky Salt touched on it in the other thread about the possibilty of Mayweather signing with them. I personally think it will be the announcement of a New York show.

f**ks sake the worst show ever, they really haven't got a clue, they're desperate and they know it, and they aren't going to win any new fans with this bullshit $1million w*nk which took up most of the show, killed the live crowd and will alienate the hardcore fanbase and the new viewers they might have brought in just for the contest, wouldn't have stuck around for the w*nk the show was in future weeks, Vince needs a complete overhaul of the company and he needs to listen to people with wrestling minds instead of these tv show writers he keeps on the books, in the words of Jericho Vince is an assclown

Figure Four Online and Wrestling Observer have merged.

Everyone should go to www.figurefouronline.com and subscribe because for just over a fiver a month you'll get online access to Dave Meltzers newsletter, Bryan Alvarez's newsletter/blog/ramblings and some of the funniest, interesting and informative radio shows going.

Seriously, at the moment, listening to the Bryan and Vinny show when they recap WWE shows is a hell of a lot more fun than actually watching them. And they do a Lance Storm interview for about an hour every few weeks and thats always pretty damn good.

    • What is too old for Leeds Fest now ?  I'm going to the Fontaines Saturday in a few weeks at 54 !!!  I may be the oldest there 🙂    Wythenshawe may be an option for WA.
    • Pretty much all festivals lose out on major artists because of production limitations though. Glastonbury is no different to most other festivals.  Lots of acts can/will adapt their tour production to suit festival stages if they want to play them, but some acts with stage designs and routines just don't want to adapt, and would rather just stick with a rigid, well-rehearsed production and take the money for their own gigs, whether that's a lot more than playing Glastonbury, or slightly less than playing some other festivals (but with added complications). Trying to adapt the stage, layout, access to b-stages etc to accommodate a single headliner on a Friday and then having to change it all around for a Saturday headliner isn't really a goer when most headliners can just easily adapt their show to stay on a main stage, if they're so inclined. They have a year to figure out how to perform a song on a main stage and ditch a few dance routines out on a b-stage if they really put their mind to it. It's not that difficult......
    • I would be all over Wolf Alice but may have outgrown this venue.    Also have to consider the schedule they have been on this year so may be on a break.  This last 10 days alone they did Tramlines, New York, Chicago and Kendal Calling.  Although make hay while the sun shines may come into play.
