Just thought, Edge v Batista at Night of Champions, Batista is set to have some time off, Edge and his crew are taking Batista out at Nigt of Champion I bet

The word on the street is this draft is gunna be a shocker, theres even talk of HHH to Smackdown, I think it will be either HHH, Shawn Michales or John Cena to smackdown to fued with Edge, straight after hes saying theres no-one to challenge him left hes taken out Taker and Batista, one of them come out, thing is, im not sure who, I would have thought Jeff Hardy to Smackdown to challenge Edge and yeah he's over but would that be THAT shocking? HHH to Smackdown would be

I really can't see HHH going over to Smackdown.Cena maybe and possibly Shawn but i think it's kinda cool that he is the only superstar to have been on Raw consistantly (barring injuries) since it's inception.

Orton is said to be out for 3 months

Night of Champions is said to be the following

WWE Title - HHH v John Cena [confirmed]

World Title - Edge v Batista [confirmed]

ECW Title - Kane v Big Show [confirmed]

Womens Title Ladder Match - Mickie v Beth Phoenix [looks like this isn't happening]

IC Title - Jericho v Shawn Michales

World Tag Titles - Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly v Ted Dibiase Jr & Mystery Partner

and there will be the US Title and WWE Tag Titles defended too

how does it sound terrible? both are fantastic wrestlers who actually know how to wrestle, they could pull off a wicked ladder match, both would takes bumps, and do some great spots no doubt about it, those pair aren't models who were signed and then learnt how to do a couple of wrestling moves, they're both properly trained wrestlers, It could be one of the greatest womens matches of all time IMO

They're not fantastic wrestlers though. They're better than everyone on the roster bar Victoria. They're nothing special.

All i'll say is Fit Finlay has his work cut out on this one...

And why are they having a ladder match anway? considering Undertaker (supposedly) just had to retire after losing a Ladder match at the end of a year long feued with Edge for the World Title...

sorry, but a womens ladder match sounds like a horrendous idea.

Not because it won't be awesome for what it is and who is in it, as I have no doubt that Mickie and Beth are (apart from Kong and Kim in TNA) the best womens workers around. I dare say they'd be able to pull of a decent match, but the fact that a) it's a ladder match on the very next lineup after a ppv with a ladder match, and b) fans will be expecting the same or similar spots to those the men do. Therefore, either the girls will do the match and the crowd won't be into it because it's boring (by men's standards); or they'll kill each other trying to do their spots.

Any match that puts the workers at major unnecessary risk is a bad idea in my book, so I'm glad it's looking unlikely to happen.

Anyway, if the WWE is commited to the concept.... WWE should do one ladder match a year, and it should be called Money In The Bank. Doing other ladder matches throughout the year takes something away from the MitB match, making it less special. Imagine how special the MitB match would be if you'd not seen any of the usual ladder spots for a year.

I personally feel the MitB match has run it's course, and it's time to update it. It ties up a large percentage of the roster, limits the number of other matches you can do on the Mania card, the IC title hasn't been defended at Mania for what.... 6 years now? CM Punk has practically killed any power the case holder might have... it's totally lost it's status. Look at how well Edge used the first case (not how he cashed it in, but how he used it in his various stories), and indeed RVD. They did their best to kill it with Kennedy/Edge last year, and it's now with a wrestler who has lost 3 times as many matches as he's won since mania. The MitB is invariably the best match on the Mania card, but imo the gimmick has run it's course and it's time to see something new.

I dont think its ever been the best match on a WM card.

21- Shawn v Kurt Angle

22- Shawn v Vince (maybe pushing it a bit, but MITB wasnt a patch on the previous years and wasnt *that good)

23- Big Dave v Undertaker or Shawn v Cena

24- Edge v Undertaker. Even Shawn v Flair.

Nattie Neidhart won a match for the Smackdown womens title match. Yes, ANOTHER belt. That means two womens title matches at NOC! And we still may get the ladder match.

The way how I read it this morning was that she was getting a title shot at NOC, Which she is, she doesn't have the title yet

Now if this means shes getting a title shot at the current Womens title or a new one im not sure, none of the spoilers Ive read match up with each other on this

What was the point in her beating all the divas on smackdown and ECW just to get a title shot against one of the ones shes just beat at NOC? doesn't make sense at all! mind you thats not surprising how things have been lately

talk about making a title look like shit, when really they need to make it the definitive mid card title which can be crucial to a feud, remember how bleak things were when they got rid of it? saying that, when i tuned into raw i was close to throwing the remote at the tv when i saw that jericho was ic champ again, the man is over, can work a decent match and shits out charisma for breakfast, has he even had his feud with john cena since returning? (that's when i switched off, cena beating jericho twice in 24 hours made me feel ill  )

also bring back the hardcore title, yes it was a massive gimmick but any title which can get the crowd loving someone like al snow deserves another chance. lol i've just remembered when brisco pinned crash holly whilst he was asleep, sheer brilliance.

They could bring back the Hardcore title but they can't book any title for shit at the moment so whats the point

No the Jericho - Cena fued hasn't happened cus they think WWE fans forget everything instantly after it happens

I still want them to bring back the cruiserweight title and stick it on ECW, it would rule, give them air time and push it like WCW did, it would get over, its not like they'd lose any viewers on that show is it?

WWE are blocking Flair from appearing at NWA event to recieve induction into their hall of fame, what a bunch of dickheads, If I was Flair I'd be pretty pissed off, the NWA was a major part of his life and they cared enough to have Flair talk about old NWA matches he had on DVD's but not enough to let him do this?

f**kin tools

Is everyone, like me, Down with the Brown?

Watched Big Brother tonight. it was so great i could have wept. This geek from Wigan who likes wearing suits got booed when he went in, and then just as he was about to go in he started HULKING UP. It was so great.

Later on, some Albino bloke went in, carrying a little trophy and declared "The Champ is here". i howled with laughter.

quality, even as a kid i couldn't understand why d'lo brown never made it to the top level (well until the droz incident which would ruin anyone's career), just please don't make him racist again, we don't need undertaker "killing" off any more wrestlers lol.

    • Madonna lived in the UK for absolutely ages and I think is still largely London-based at the moment.  I'm sure she'll be well aware.     But it wouldn't need to be either / or.  Lots of acts do both  - Glastonbury for the hype and BST for the pay.
    • There is a chance that Norton's reaction was very much like our reaction, because people in this country tend to think 'big = Glastonbury'.   Having said that, though, I'm fairly sure they've gone for her again this time, and it's broken down. Whether it's only just broken down or not, I'm not sure, but I'd air on the side of - they thought they had her, up to a certain point.
    • Yeah, I did wonder if they might be getting too big for Piece Hall now. Wet Leg did Castlefield this year and were subbing them at Tramlines. Wishful thinking! I'd happily see them do another outdoor headline in the north of England, wherever it might be (except R+L, which I'm def too old for now 😂)
    • You've certainly got a bunch of American acts who absolutely adore the festival and are willing to bring peanuts for it. You can never discount The Killers on that basis.
    • Law unto herself, Madge. But I think, for a certain generation, Hyde Park still has a touch of mystery and magic - that and Wembley Stadium.
