Any danger of letting us know what you have heard? ^_^

there's nothing to hear - as I stated last week, nothing has been booked yet.

I do happen to know a few of the approaches they've made, but I've promised not to spill the details, sorry, and even if I did they wouldn't necessarily mean much as they're far from certain at this stage. But expect the same sort of bill of classic acts and hot new names as Guilfest manages year-on-year - every year Guilfest succeeds in getting a very suitable line-up for what the fest is about.

Guilfest is always later at doing its bookings and making its announcements than other fests.

If I hadn't agreed to keep it zipped I wouldn't have been told who has been approached, so you'd still have no other rumours.

And there's no point making up false stuff as rumours is there? When we have something to rumour, it will be rumoured.

Half of me thinks along those lines too!

Funny, the same weekend of Guilfest and you've also got Blissfields & O2 Wireless and whilst both of those are still about to announce full line-ups at least they've released info on alot of the main acts.

It is a shame Guilfest leave it late for the announcements. :D

i may be committed to the other two fests by the time we hear who is doing Guilfest!!

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
