At the peak of each one i would say Family Guy takes the lead for me but this is only veryu marginal between all of them, as they have all had spells of brilliance

We're all from different cultures here. Some of you are white, and some of you are black. You're brown...... And you're silver. But I don't care if your skin's red, or tan, or Chinese. You're all going to have to learn to die together.

I am astounded at the amount of people saying South Park is better than Family Guy..

What the hell?! Have you even watched Family Guy.. South Park is childish drivel in comparison..

Thats absolute bollocks. Simple as that.

South Park has dealt with so many highly politicised issues in the past in a way that FG would struggle to come close to. To call it childish drivel is naive to say the least.

I can hardly see FG pulling off an episode like the Goobacks one of South Park as an attempt to saturise US imigration policy (all be it with Stone and Parkers mid-western slightly right of centre viewpoint that they like to present as just being 'the way it is')

Satire is what's giving South Park longevity. Simpsons went off the rails because it had no way of inserting new ideas, and South Park was going the same way until it started bringing in the satire more heavily in Season 5/6. And Family Guy... well that was getting repetitive after 2 seasons. I love FG to watch one episode of when I have nowt better to do, but it is beyond me how someone can watch 1 a week for a whole season and still find it funny. Okay, a lot of SP's satire goes way off the mark and follow a common basic show structure, when it's good it's REALLY good. When SP no longer needed to rely on killing Kenny or bringing in Pip, Token, Tweek etc., that's when it started getting great.

All very good points both shows can be childish and Family Guy has lost its way in the same vein South Park did, but on a whole Id say Family Guy is consistantly a stronger show

There are some truly awful episodes of South Park and very few Family Guy episodes which are poor, but again thats just my opinion and it isn't going to match everyone else's

South Park, American Dad, Futurama, Simpsons and Family Guy are all great shows and are better than most things on TV so way argue about which is better and just enjoy them cus you would miss them if they get cancelled like Family Guy and Futurama did

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
