Overrated just means you don't like them, so I can't argue. But quickly forgotten? They're bigger now than they were when they split up... And he's clearly not talentless or he wouldn't have written such popular albums.

Not necessarily. Like a lot of things in this modern, disposable culture, they were raved about and then people moved on to the 'next big thing'.

Fair enough if you like them, I just think Pete Doherty has always made music for teenagers. He's kind of like the 'indie' Gerard Way.

Well it was my 50 year old dad who got me into them. And I know alot of other older people that like them.

Not that I'm entirely sure why making music for teenagers is a bad thing, but well done on switching the conversation from you to Pete Doherty.
