Wicket ground smaller & late arrival

We aren’t arriving with our kids until Thurs eve and were planning to go to Wicket ground family camping. I have been told (on here and elsewhere) that it’s normally fine.

But someone told me today that it’s smaller this year as the accessible campervans are there- anyone know much about this?

i was feeling pretty ok about getting in there late Thurs but now I am panicking a bit! I don’t want to be wandering about with kids trying to find a space!!

My brother arrived and camped on Thursday afternoon and found space for a large tent easily.

This is the 2023 map showing the area that is now Accessibility Campervan area 🙂

If you look at the 2023 map I have posted above Accessible campervan and caravans will be in the lower section. I have no idea what impact this will have on the normal camping. Possibly ask the campsite stewards on arrival if there is space and if not where they recommend you go. 😀

Thanks! Someone just told me that the bit that is accessible campers this year was general camping anyway last year so there hasn’t actually been much space lost! So hopefully it will be ok and we can squeeze in!
