I was at Park for Fever Ray. Certainly wasn’t that busy. Very empty 5 mins before but built up well. As an aside, I thought they were excellent.

Yep, I was there, pretty close to the front. It was also my first festival. 21 years and many festivals on, this still sits up there as one of my favourite sets. Obviously there will have been a lot of attendees there for a decent spot for Coldplay, but I’d say a lot of folk walked away with a new found love of Maxi et al.

Exhaustion hit me when Ross was on on Sunday. Found the little garden in the sacred space. Very tranquil, shady and cool. Turned out the exhaustion was COVID 🙄

I did Wicket family camping in ‘19 and ‘17. Arrived on the Wednesday and there was still loads of room on the Thursday evening. The kids were playing football in front of our tent.

Slightly celebrating the fact that my son’s last GCSE falls on the Tuesday morning before we head off to Glasto on the Wednesday morning. Just need to get very lucky for him in the resales. I’ve dragged him along to every festival since he was 10. Priming the next generation 😄

2002 was also my first visit to the farm and Faithless also my favourite sub set! Epic energy. Closely followed by the XX into Radiohead. So good -
