Early access CV west

After a few years volunteering and camping, this time we are having a bit more comfort in a camper van - lot least because we are on site for over a week. Volunteers have access from the Saturday - but i have been advised this is CV East - whereas for various reasons we would prefer west. Does anyone know if volunteers/workers can get early access to west? Thanks

Who are you volunteering with? Oxfam have their own field just outside gate B, and campervans park on this field and not in the normal CV fields. You can rock up from Monday onwards with them, and I hear Festaff are pretty much exactly the same. If you’re on T+C performers tickets then you can drive in before 10pm on Tuesday and park in their area in the middle of the festival site. Different volunteer groups have different setups

Recycling. So we can turn up in Toms field on the Sunday but CV east on the Saturday. It was whether CV west was also accessible then. East is actually more convenient for Toms Field - but from reading all the comments, west appears to be preferable for access  and reasonably quick exit on the Monday.

There is no camper van West next year - it’s going to be more pre-erected camping - Sticklinch. Your only choice is East or B&W
