Another depressing day on planet Earth.

Until we start having a serious discussion about the influence of religion, this will continue. People seem happy with the idea that religion can influence people in a positive way, but as soon as its suggested that the influence can be negative, its deemed offensive and prejudiced. Religion has a profound influence on many people, both good and bad, and if it didn't it probably wouldn't have survived - we need to face up to its negative side.
