Is the fence still up?

Glastocam shows that the fence has been taken down but some last work is still ongoing with the post festival packdown (cover is still on the Pyramid but stage has been dismantled).

Fence is still up on the village side and they are very busy with the outload. Down by red gate is full of fence etc. Fence was still up behind kings meadow as of yesterday but that is coming down at pace. Unlikely that the site will be clear by next week but possible. Always best to call the festival office and check.

Is is possible to walk round the site when everything has been packed away or is it all private land?

I was thinking of having a look round late August.

I went 2 days before it became closed to the public (think it was the Sunday on the first may bank holiday weekend of this year). It was fantastic. Bizarre but great. There were lots of items sitting in fields waiting to be set up - long drop components, sinks etc. The ribbon tower had been constructed and the tower's top was sat on the ground next to it. There were a few ramblers around. I parked on Hitchin hill just before the worthy farm entrance. I did email gfl enquiries before hand so probably a good idea in case the site is still off limits. It's a great morning / afternoon out!image.jpeg
