hello!

Yesterday I got some food shopping done for glasto, i bought some various vegetarian sausages etc, with the intent of bringing them to the festival. A mix of frozen and chilled, by the time i got home I found them to be smelling quite badly etc. My plan was to freeze them all before bringing them along, but now im wondering i its a good idea at all . anyone have any advice of this kind of thing, can it make me ill? please help!!!

With the vegetarian food on offer.. I wouldn't bother.

But if you're set on bringing your own food. Bring them in a cool box.

Are they in date? I've never had problems with that stuff at glasto. It's pretty much lasted the week thawed out and been fine. Never known it to smell bad though.

yep! thanks for the response, thinking should be ok in an airtight container!

I know what you mean about costs, but think about taking some non perishables to eat in case the food you've got upsets you, you don't need that at the festival. The Hari Krishna stall gives free food if you help out with the dishes etc. That's one free veggie option.
